Stranger Things Rewriting - with Y/N

Chapter One - The Vanishing of Will Byers

"Do you hear that? Listen... Something is coming...something hungry for blood..."

Inside an arranged basement, a group of four 12 years old boys are gathered around a small table, focused on their Dungeons And Dragons campaign. The Dungeon Master, Mike Wheeler, is slowly narrating the story, looking at his friends one by one. He is a small boy with a rounded black haircut shaping his head. He has dark browned eyes, a pointy nose and pink lips with which he continues his narrative.

"A shadow grows on the wall behind you... swallowing you in darkness... it is almost here..."

"What is it?" asks the boy in front of him. Will Byers is a short boy as well. His hair is brown and looks like a bowl on his head, while his big brown eyes are sparkling in excitment.

"What if it's the Demogorgon? We're in deep shit if it's the Demogorgon --".

"It's not the Demogorgon --".

The two remaining boys start arguing about their opponent. The first one is called Dustin Henderson and has curly brown hair flattened by his red-white-blue cap. His blue eyes are frowning in anticipation while his big lips show his missing teeth. The second boy is Lucas Sinclair. He is black and has his black hair really short on top of his head. His brown eyes are frowning as well, while his big lips are kept shut in confidence of himself.

Mike Wheeler lets Lucas the Knight and Dustin the Dwarf argue before allowing himself to shout:

"An army of Troglodytes charge into the chamber!", as he slams figurines of monsters on the playboard.

The players sigh in relief, while Lucas expresses how he was right. But Mike looks over his shoulder and starts to panic.

"Wait... do you hear that? Boom! Boom! BOOM!". He slams the table again, making his friends jump in surprise. "That sound... it didn't come from the Troglodytes. No. It came from something else... ".

"The Demogorgon!" Mike shouts again, as he slams for the third time on the table, placing in the middle of the playboard a figurine of a two headed monster.

The boys groan in disbelief as they are screwed. Dustin curses before Mike hasten Will the Wizard to take action. The little boy doesn't know what to do and is stuck in between Dustin and Lucas, where Dustin wants him to cast a protection spell but Lucas wants him to fireball the monster's ass. In quality of the Dungeon Master, Mike Wheeler interrupts them and warns them that the Demogorgon is coming closer.

In the action, Will grabs the dices and throws them in an attempt of fire-balling the monster, but the dices fall on the ground. The four of them jumps out of their chairs to look for the score. They crawl the floors in exploration while the basement door suddenly opens. A 16 years old girl appears at the door frame. She is not very tall and her dyed blonde hair is a mess on her head. Her [y/eye color] eyes are slowly lighting up at the sight of the boys crawling down the floor. This is Y/N Wheeler, the big sister of Mike.

"What the heck are you guys doing?" she amusingly asks. Mike lifts up his head at her and tells her they lost the dices. "It's late, Mike. What did I tell you? Mom is going to be pissed."

Mike takes a look at his watch and quickly gets up as he realizes his sister is right. He runs up the stairs and Y/N steps down. She offers her help to the rest of the boys.

Upstairs, Mike enters the kitchen where his mother Karen Wheeler is tidying things up. She is a pretty woman with light brown hair and brown eyes. Before he can even speak, Karen stops him without looking away from the plate in her hands. "Fifteen after, Mike. Don't try to buy me more time." But Mike plaids his case anyway. "Just twenty more minutes--".
