When I got home, Harley and Cass were sitting on the couch watching TV.
"What are you guys watching?" I asked,
"The Kardashians." Cass replied,
"Seriously?" I rolled my eyes,
"Hey!" Harley wagged a finger at me, "Don't judge."
"I'm not!" I held up my hands, "You just didn't seem the type."
"Cass and I were thinking, we should probably go shopping for everything we need. And clothes." Harley said,
"Yeah ok. Should I bring a gun?" I asked,
Cass stared at me. Harley stretched and stood up, "Sure. Just in case."
Soon, we were heading out. They put on the same clothes they had worn the night before, since that was all they had. I geared up, just in case. We all headed out, Harley and Cass looking a little more excited than normal.
"Why are you guys being weird?" I asked,
"We're not!" Harley said, skipping up ahead. Cass giggled.
"Whatever."
I figured we would walk, but Harley pulled me towards the parking lot.
"What are you doing?" I asked,
Cass took my other hand, "We've got to show you something."
"Close your eyes." Harley said,
I raised an eyebrow.
"Close them!" Harley insisted.
I closed my eyes with a huff. Cass and Harley led me blind, making sure I didn't trip. Why were we in the parking lot? We stopped.
"Ok." Harley said, "Now open."
I did as she said and looked around. I gasped. In front of us was the most gorgeous motorcycle. It was even better than the one Joker had gotten me. It was even faster than the Kawasaki he had gotten me. MTT 420-RR, top speed: 273. It had the most beautiful paint job. Black and gold with a red seat. ACE was painted in gold.
I felt myself tearing up, "Guys..." I said meekly,
"Do you like it?" Cass asked,
"I love it." My voice cracked.
I moved past them, to kiss it, "Beautiful baby, we're going to have so much fun together."
"Jealous?" Cass elbowed Harley.
"Thank you guys." I stood back up and looked at them, "Where, how did you even get this?"
"Don't worry about it." Harley and Cass gave each other a look.
"We did it while you were gone." Cass said,
"We painted it too." Harley said, "Or, well, we threatened a guy who painted it. But I wanted it to be your colors."
"You know, branding." Cass added,
"Branding?"
"Well, since I said the whole, "I'm the one they should be scared of" speech, I figure we should make a statement." Harley said, "We're done taking orders. Time to be our own women."
"Hell yeah!" Cass cheered,
"Starting with a shopping trip!" Harley's face lit up.

We ended up walking into town, since we couldn't all fit on the new motorcycle. Per Harley's request, we decided to hit up the more ritzy part of town. Glamorous, glittering stores everywhere we turned. Secretly, Harley was a bit of a diva. When Joker stopped dictating her fashion (and everything else) she really found her own style. Her face was glowing as she looked from store to store. We followed her into a clothing store. The clerks anxiously looked at each other when we entered. Harley winked and gave them a little wave. One of them dove for the phone. I reached it first, smoothly putting my hand on top of theirs.
