"Kagome, honey? Are you in your room? May I come in?"

Kagome sighed sadly, sitting on the bed. "Come in."

After Harumi had a call from Kagome's father, she decided to confront her after telling her the truth about her true form and her real father. Kagome was still really upset. Sure thing her mother didn't want her to be worried about leaving this place without saying goodbye to her friends from the feudal era. Harumi wondered how her wounded shoulder was doing, but it was healing with the flesh bandages. Thank God Inuyasha didn't kill her.

Harumi sat beside her and gave her a soft smile. "Kagome, I know you're really upset about leaving Tokyo, but you have ten days of moving into the Sakamaki Family. I'll let you spend more time with your friends. But I didn't want you to hurt your friends because I won't let you get killed or let yourself transform into a vampire."

Kagome signed sadly again, looking into her mother's face. "Okay... but thank you for letting me see my friends."

Harumi began to embrace her. "Well, honey, you have ten days of seeing your friends. Whatever you want to decide, it's up to you, so you won't have a problem moving to your new place."

Kagome began to smile back at her after she was done embracing her. "Thank you, Mom."

After Harumi let Kagome spend more time with Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Kirara she explained the talk and how she got a true form from herself. When she tells everyone she is a half-vampire and the real daughter of Karlheinz Sakamaki, they were surprised about Harumi's secret she has kept from her whole life. They were surprised that Kagome has to go live in the Sakamaki Family. But they knew she had ten days of spending more time with her them.

"That's the reason why you're leaving this place?" Sango asked.

"Yes," Kagome nodded.

"We understand, Kagome," Inuyasha said.

"Really?"

He nodded. "Yeah, you always be there for us and always help us out by finding the jewel shards."

"Do you really have to go, Mama?" Shippo asked as he leaped onto her left shoulder.

Kagome nodded sadly. "Yes, but I won't leave you all until ten days passed when I need to make a wish for the Shikon Jewel to disappear," Kagome said, stroking Shippo's locks of auburn. "I promise I will spend more time with you all until I'll move to my dad's place."

"I understand, Mama," Shippo said as he wrapped his arms tightly around Kagome's neck. She was the only mother he knew and would ever.

Inuyasha placed his hand on Kagome's left shoulder and say, "Come on Kagome. Let's have some fun."

She smiled at her so-called brother. "Okay."

Ten days later, everyone was giving her a hug goodbye, except Sesshomaru who was standing beside the big tree. Inuyasha felt sad when he has to say goodbye to Kagome before she leaves. Although Kagome needed to get rid of the jewel before it'll send her back to her era. He knew they'll never see her again, but they'll never forget her as well.

Kagome gazed at all of her friends and allies. She was glad that she had met them all. They all became important to her. Then she took the small bottle of jewel shards underneath her clothes and placed all of the pieces into the palm of her hand. She clasped her hands together and used her power to merge the pieces together. Her hands glowed a light pink for a moment and then it disappeared. She laid out her palms and the complete the Shikon Jewel was shown. She clasped her hands once more and closed her eyes.

"I wish for the jewel to disappear forever," Kagome said softly. Then a small chime of a bell echoed around them and the jewel faded from the world forever. All the battles, the hardship, the pain, the bloodshed that they faced, and the bonds they created, the object that had caused so much misfortune was finally disappear.

"It's finally gone, Kagome," Inuyasha said, looking at Kagome.

"Yes. It no longer exists, Inuyasha." Kagome said, looking at him. Then everyone ran towards them and started hugging them. They were happy that the jewel was gone, but they still mourn the innocent who was used in Naraku's schemes. Those that were used in his schemes were finally set free from his sinister grip.

After that, Kagome looked at each of the faces of her beloved friends that she had made along her journey throughout the feudal era.

"Goodbye, everyone!" Kagome said, waving at her friends as she was feeling a bit sad. After saying goodbye to her friends, she went back to her era and was ready to go see her family for the last time.

When Kagome left, Inuyasha blinked as he forgot that he still has beads of subjugation, which Kagome forgets.

"Hey! Kagome forgets to take this thing off of me before she leaves!" He shouted.

Miroku chuckled. "Inuyasha, maybe Lady Kagome wanted you to keep it as you'll always remember her."

He sighed. "Yeah. I guess you were right."

After Kagome returned to the modern era...

"Kagome, are you all packed?" Harumi asked her as she checked her in the bedroom and see her packing her big yellow bag. She can see her depress look on her face while packing her clothes, her belongings, and her books.

Kagome spun around and gave her a sad look on her face. "Y-yes... I'm ready," she stuttered. "It's all packed."

"I'm sorry, Kagome," Harumi murmured, sitting next to her on the bed. "You know how much I love you and always be my daughter, but your father and your older half-brothers will take very good care of her. Please understand this, it's for your own safety."

She sighed sadly. "I know, but will Dad be there for me when I'm gonna be there in the Sakamaki's Mansion?"

"I'm afraid he won't be there, but you'll meet your older half-brothers. They won't hurt you, I promise," Harumi said.

Thirty minutes later, the black car parked in the street in front of Kagome and Harumi. A tall butler man with a black suit stepped toward them. Kagome felt nervous about leaving Tokyo, but she felt her tears flowing down her face.

"Kagome Higurashi Sakamaki?"

"Yep, that's me," she said with a friendly smile.

"My name is Sebastian and I am from the Sakamaki's household," he introduced as he bowed down to the seventeen-year-old girl.

"Nice to meet you, Sebastian," Kagome said.

"Now, Miss Sakamaki, I'm here to pick you up to the Sakamaki's Resistance," he told Kagome with a smile.

"Thank you."

She turned around and see her mother with a sad look on her face. She knew she won't let her leave this place. Kagome felt the same.

"Well, I think it's time, but behave yourself, Kagome, and never forget us because we will always love you," Harumi said as she added tears to her eyes.

Kagome embraced her mother softly. "Don't worry, Mom," she said. "I won't forget anything, but I will send you a letter or send you an email. I hope we'll meet again."

After they stopped hugging, Kagome entered the limo and sat in the back seat. Sebastian brought her bags to the back trunks. After he was done putting her bags in the trunks, he went back to the limo and began to drive the car. Kagome wanted to cry so hard, but she doesn't want to sob in front of the butler. She just cried a bit as her tears are streaming down her face.
