As Kagome woke up at three in the morning, she sighed as she went to go get something for a drink. Water, of course. It only helps her put her asleep. Well, sometimes. However, when she made it to the kitchen, Kagome saw a familiar purple-haired woman that she has seen before.
Her icy blue eyes widened when she saw her turning around and smiling at her until her heart beats and started to collapse, feeling a sharp pain in her chest. She gritted her teeth, clenching onto her chest.
What is happening to me!? Why is the pain always inflicted on me!? Kagome thought. Then she blacked out until she saw another flashback as she has seen it before.
Dream
Kagome woke up and found herself in the garden again. She knew she was in the past timeline where she found her mother very young around her age. She began to walk around, finding clues why a purple-haired woman has send her here. Suddenly, she saw her mother, Harumi, had come running into the mansion, sobbing.
Her father, Karlheinz, had been sitting at his work table working on his science project. He looked up and immediately got to his feet, making a beeline straight to the love of his life. He had a worried look on his face when he saw her sobbing.
"Haru! Honey, what's wrong?" Karlheinz asked in a worried tone as he took her into his arms.
Harumi continued to sob as she clung to Karlheinz. Eventually, she was able to get herself under control long enough to speak to her beloved lover.
"Karl, there is something I need to tell you," Harumi said with a worried look on her face.
"What is it, sweetheart?" He asked.
She breathed heavily, feeling scared. "Will you ever hate me or leave me when I tell you this?"
"No, honey. I would never hate or leave you. I love you, Haru. Please, tell me. I'm here for you." Karlheinz said as he embraced her before letting her go and letting her speak.
"Karl, I'm pregnant," Harumi answered, which shocked Karlheinz and Kagome.
Kagome knew for sure that she is pregnant with her way back then. However, she continued listening to their conversations.
"You're pregnant? Are you sure?" He asked.
She nodded. "Yes... Also, I'm scared if you do want it, then I'll leave and marry Yori."
Karlheinz staggered back in utter disbelief. He started to panic, just the very thought of losing his human mate and his unborn baby had him sick to his stomach. Finally, he was able to pull it together, he took a deep breath and took her by the hands.
"I see. Well, how about this? If you want to come with me, we'll run away together and start a new life." He suggested with a warm smile.
"But... how?" Harumi asked with a serious look. "How will we run away together? There is no way we can, Karl..."
"Trust me, Haru. They won't know where you are. Especially if you don't want to get married. However, go home right now, Honey, and pack. Then come straight back and we'll go to the airport."
Harumi shook her head, "No, Karlheinz, I can't go with you. No matter how much I love you. No matter how much I want to be with you, I can't go against my father. I can't shame him."
He rushed to her, taking her hands in his. "Don't worry, Haru. I'll just go and tell them that you and I are engaged and then we'll make sure Yori and his family don't destroy your family business. We, Sakamaki Family, will take over your business and protect it."
"A-Are you sure?" Harumi asked nervously.
He nodded, smiling at her. "I am sure."
"What about the baby?" She asked him, worried.
"They'll know eventually when they'll decide to let me marry you and have our child to the world. I promise you they won't harm you and your family." He promised his human mate.
She sighed, feeling stressed out more. "Okay..."
Then Karlheinz hugged her and kisses her on the lips while gazing upon her. "Don't worry. Everything will be alright. I'm sure your family business will be safe."
She then smiled at him. "Thank you, Karl. And I love you."
"I love you, too, Haru." He replied. Then Kagome knew everything went black until she began to wake up.
Dream ends
Kagome gasped as she sat up, waking up from the dream. After that, she looked over her surroundings and found herself laying on someone else's bed in a different room. She didn't know why she was in a stranger's room, but clearly, she knew someone has found her laying on the ground having a past vision of her parents and even her origin.
"So, you're awake." She heard a familiar male voice say. Kagome turned her side and saw it was Ruki who was sitting next to her.
She blinked, blushing softly. "R-Ruki...! How did you...?"
"I saw you laying on the ground, so I brought you into my room," Ruki told her.
"Was I sleepwalking?" Kagome asked, sounding a bit embarrassed about what she did. Well, she wasn't because she was awake and tried to get a glass of water.
"Maybe. But you should get some rest. Sooner or later, I'll take you back to the Sakamaki Brothers, especially your supposed friend that we need to take her back to Subaru." Ruki suggested as he pulled the sheet of the blanket at her chin, which caused her to blush heavily.
After that, Ruki left her in his bedroom before heading his way to the hall. Kagome sat up and faced him, "Ruki."
"Hm?"
"Thank you," Kagome said.
"You're welcome." Then Ruki closed the door quietly until Kagome was alone and immediately went back to sleep.
