You finally finished unpacking all of your bags and boxes and setting everything up. You layed back on your bed as you felt a wave of relief rush over you. You finally did it. You had achevied a childhood dream. I mean, Colorado is nice, the rocky mountains, the scenery, the people, but it was nice to have a change. Ever since you were a kid, all you dreamed about was the big city. Mostly because you liked all the tall buildings, all the noise, the apartments, but also to get away from your parents. They were the nagging, control-freak, manipulative, hypocrite type of parents. Well, that was mostly your mother because your father would be with his friends, drinking. Your mother would yell at him for that almost constantly. Your friends helped you get through it all though. Your best friend, Alex, was even moving with you and was going to be right across the street from you. You were glad you were gonna have someone to talk to. You got up from your bed and went out onto your balcony. You loved looking at the city at night. It was always so calming. The distance honks, the lights of the office buildings, everything.

You sat out there for about an hour, enjoying the sights before the wind kicked up and you went back inside. You sat on your brand new couch and turned on the news.

"What up, its Tiffany Fluffit, Channel 6 Action news. The Bad Guys are the most diabolical criminals known in LA. Just today, they broke in and stole over 63 thousand dollars from yet another bank!-"

You bust out laughing.

"The 'Bad Guys'?! I mean seriously, if you're gonna commit multiple crimes and felonies, at least make a better gang name for yourselves!" You said outloud to no one.

You came from a gang yourself and you guys had a much better name. That is, if you guys took the time to actually think of a name. And commit crimes. You did however learn a bunch of unique and interesting ways to pickpocket, hack, and drive. And now, you have competition. You weren't just gonna let that go to waste. You pulled out your phone and called Alex.

"H-hello?" Alex answered, groggily.

"Hey! Have you seen the news?" You asked.

"Bitch no I was sleeping untill you decided to wake me up!" Alex said, annoyed

"Shut up. Anyway, theres this group of animal criminals. They call themselves, 'The Bad Guys'-"

"Ok, and?!" Alex said as he cut you off.

"Remember that 'Gang' we created when we were like, 13?" You asked.

"Yeah...wait! You're not actually think of-"

"Oh yes I am! Im not just gonna let these talents go to waste!" You exclaimed as you cut your friend off.

"What would we even steal?" Alex asked.

"Oh, I don't know...maybe, their car?" You said with a smirk.

"How are we gonna do that?! We don't know what they look like, we don't know what their car looks like, we don't know anything!" Alex said.

"We know that they're animals, thats kind of a big hint as to what they look like. And if they're bad guys, then they're probably predators." You responded.

" I guess thats something we can work with." Alex said in a defeated tone.

"Ok, in the morning, you come over to my place and we'll get more information and decide what day to steal their car." You said.

"Ok, good night."

"Goodnight"

You hang up the phone and put it back in your pocket. You shut off the tv and walk back into your bedroom. You take your phone back out of your pocket and plug it in. It makes a noise signifying that it is charging. You switch your phone to silent and crawl into bed. You were so excited that you could finally put your skills to use that you could barely sleep. It took you almost 2 hours to fall asleep that night. And when you finally did, it was the worst sleep you've ever had in your entire life.

*You ran through the tiny, suffocating maze, trying to find the exit. All you could hear was your pounding head. You couldn't let him catch you, not now. His tapping foot steps, they got scarier and scarier the further you went. The maze grew darker and your eyes widened, you were scared of the dark, and what didn't help was he seemed to be getting closer and further. It wasn't consistent which made it worse. Your heart was beating harder and everything around you got darker and darker. He popped up right in front of you and you screamed.

And then you woke up, but something wasn't right. The nightlight you had wasn't on, so it was dark in your room. You couldn't see past the end of your bed. You were shaking miserably, and it was starting to hurt. He appeared on your left side and then your right. He then approached the end if your bed and your breathing started going quicker.

He started to morph into your older brother. When you were still living with your parents, he would touch you in inappropriate ways. Majorly as well, and of course your mind just had to turn it into nightmares. You were paralyzed with fear as your brother climbed up onto your bed in an inhuman way. You looked into the things cold, dead eyes as it got on top of you...
