Chapter 3- Planning

You unlocked your door and went inside your apartment. Alex had already left, which kind of sucked but you could invite him over later. And plus, you had the whole rest of the day to plan out how this was gonna work. You first decided to do a little research to find out who these so called 'Bad Guys' were. You googled them and your heart dropped. You stared at the tiny screen as you realized you just met up with the guy you were trying to steal from.

"This just got so much harder..." You thought as you let out a heavy sigh.

Suddenly, you got a message on your phone from an unknown number. You decided to open it up to see what it was about.

"Hey Y/N, its Wolf."

The message read.

Oh, hey.

A few minutes go by before there was another text.

Why are you not afraid?

Afraid of what?

Me.

What reason do I have to be scared of you? You haven't done anything to me and to be honest, you're not really that threatening.

Really?

Yeah, trust me sweetie, I've been through a hell of a lot worse than seeing a criminal furry in public.

You put your phone back in your pocket after you saved Wolf in your contacts. You ran your hands through your a/c (actual color) hair as you sat on the couch. But as you thought more about it, the more you realized how easy it would actually be. You'd just need something to hide your identity. And you wouldn't even need the keys. Jen had something that could start the car, it just needed to be in it. You smirked as you layed your head back to look at the ceiling. Suddenly, you hear knocking at your door. You opened it up and it was Jen.

"Did you leave as soon as the call ended or something?" You said, letting her in.

"Yeah, basically." She replied as she stepped inside.

"Where's Alex?"

"I don't know, I think he went home." You said as you pulled out your phone to call him.

You dialed his number and waited. He picked up on the 5th ring.

"Hey." He answered

"Hey, get over here. Jen's here." You said.

"Ight, I'll be right over!" He replied.

You ended the call and put your phone back into your pocket. You and Jen talked for a few minutes, catching up with each other and making small talk before Alex was knocking at your door. You opened it and let him in. You all sat around for a few minutes before Alex spoke.

"So, when and how are we gonna do this?" Alex asked.

Jen looked at you. You paused for a moment before you spoke.

"Ok, first of all, I have some bad news." You began.

"Oh shit" Alex mumbled.

Jen just stood there with a questioning look on her face.

"I...kind of...met up with the guy we're trying to steal from. On Accident! I didn't mean for it to happen!" You said, putting your hands up in defense.

Alex and Jen both ran their hands through their hair as they sighed.

"But, we can still do this. I just need somthing to hide my identity." You said.

That's when Jen spoke up.

"I think I might have something..." She said as she dug around in her bag.

You and Alex looked at each other as Jen pulled out a halloween mask.

"I was expecting something a little moreee, cool? Like, I don't know, something that turns you invisible?" You said as you took the mask.

"It'll do, though." Jen said with a smirk.

"I guess." You said, defeated.

"Ok, but that still doesn't answer my question!" Alex exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, right! So, I was thinking maybe we could do it today, since Jen's already here." You said. "And also, did you bring your remote car starter thing? I forget what its called, but did you bring it?"

"I brought one of everything." Jess said with a blank face.

"Well ok then. Now for the how, we could probably hack into the government satellite and find it that way." You said.

"Can I do it?! Please!" Jess said as she jumped up and down like a child.

"Ugh, fine." You said as you rolled your eyes.

Jess hapilly got out her laptop and began the process.

"What am I supposed to do?!" Alex pouted.

"You have the most important job, protect the car." You said with a smirk.

"With what?" Alex asked.

"My car" You said as you looked out the window to your fully upgraded d/c (dream car).

"I can't drive that thing, its too powerful!" Alex protested.

"It's either that or you stay here with Jen." You said.

Alex groaned about it for a couple more minutes before he finally agreed.

"I'll drive there if it makes you feel any better." You said as you punched Alex lightly in the arm.

Jen finished hacking into the satellite and found the car. You and Alex got the RCS (remote car starter) ready and got into your car. You felt the rumble of the engine as you started the car. You always loved that feeling. You tore out of the parking lot of your apartment building and headed towards the coordinates Jen had sent to your GPS. You looked at Alex and smiled as he held onto the seat for dear life. You knew this was gonna be dangerous, but it'll be worth it to see the look on Wolf's face...
