Once Iris was far from the dojo, she began to calm her breathing and listened to know if anyone was following her. Once Iris had convinced herself no one was following her, she sighed in relief and looked down. "Oh no!" Iris whispered yelling as she gripped the sides of her head, not realizing she left her shoes in the dojo. She looked down the hall and waited for a few moments before walking down, being sure to remain silent and hoping no one would be able to hear her. Once she was down the hall enough, Iris again checked to make sure no one was down the hall that had the dojo door. She headed for it and opened the door, sighing in relief when she saw no one was inside, and quickly grabbed her shoes. "You also train?" Someone asked, causing Iris to yelp and turn around, seeing Master Wu behind her. His walking staff remained in his hands as Iris laughed nervously.
"Uh... no. I just left my shoes in here yesterday when...." Iris paused and shifted her gaze around the hall, seeing Jay walking down the hall as his phone remained in his hands. "Uh, was helping him the other day!" Iris said and pointed a finger at Jay, who looked up and saw both Iris and Wu looking at him. "And just what were you two doing the other day?" Wu asked as he fully turned to Jay, who was about to claim Iris was wrong until he noticed the pleading expression on Iris's face. "Uh... she was helping me put away some weapons in the dojo last night." Jay said and saw Iris sighing in slight relief. Wu smiled at the answer and turned to Iris, who straightened up and looked up at Wu. "I'm sure what you went through a few months ago was tragic. If you ever wish to train or learn some martial art skills, I'd be glad to show you the ropes." Wu offered as he held a hand to his chest.
"O-oh, thanks for that." Iris said and tried to put her shoes back on. "But I'm sure my Ba would get jealous and I'd hate to start up a fight, knowing how short his temper is." Iris said as she smiled nervously and put her hands behind her back. She shifted her gaze between Wu and Jay a few times. "Okay, byyyyeeee!" Iris yelled and ran down the halls, leaving Jay and Wu to watch her silence. "You know she was lying, right?" Jay asked as he turned his phone off and put it into his jacket pocket, walking up to Wu who watched Iris run. "Of course. I'm old, not dense." Wu admitted as he looked at Jay, who seemed even more confused. "So, you're not gonna confront her about it?" Jay asked as he gestured towards the hall. "Nope. She is MK's friend and I'm sure she is very respectful, I'm sure Iris was doing something she thought was wrong but really meant no harm." Wu admitted and walked down the hall, Jay raised a brow and looked at the door to the dojo.
He walked over to the door and slid it open, looking around and only seeing Macaque's staff was now gone. He hummed quietly as he walked over to the rack and touched it, pulling back and seeing no dust had gathered within the few minutes the weapon remained gone. "Maybe the monkey needed to train?" Jay voiced with a raised brow and looked around. "Yeah, we'll go with that." He said and left the room alone, not acknowledging how the room was lighter for some odd reason. After a few minutes, MK was awake, remaining in a defensive posture as Kai and Nya remained in front of him. Everyone else was watching from the sidelines as the Smith siblings walked in a circle in the courtyard. Mya squealed in excitement as she clapped her hands, ready to see how this would end. Ray smirked and rolled his eyes at his wife's behavior, finding it cute. Redson leaned against the post, his eyes narrowed as his arms were folded in front of his chest. "Go Kai! You got this!" Cole cheered, Jay cheering for his girlfriend.
Wukong scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Yeah right, my successor is gonna wipe the floor with them." Wukong laughed, everyone rolled their eyes or just got more excited. Macaque smirked as he flicked Wukong's head by using the Monkey King's shadow, looking to the side as the immortal hissed in annoyance. Pigsy and Yang normally would've tried to stop Macaque and Wukong from bickering, but Tang found Wu's library and hasn't left it since he saw it this morning. Pigsy is also in the kitchen, going over other meals and soups he's made over the years with Zane. The ninjadroid goes over recipes he too has made, he even told the demon pig which one Kai and Nya liked the most. Lloyd remained in the courtyard with the others, smirking as he saw Iris fidgeting with her hands, he just assumed she was nervous about the duel. "Don't worry big bro, we'll go easy on you." Kai said, spinning his katana in one hand before aiming it at MK. Nya only tightened her grip on her spear/sai as her eyes narrowed, MK laughed a bit, crouching down.
"Then this won't be very challenging." MK said, a spark of determination lighting up in his eyes. As he finished his words, MK used his speed and strength to push off the ground, causing a small crater to form where he once stood as he suddenly appeared behind Nya and Kai. They both gasped as they turned, seeing MK pulling back his staff and spinning it in the air, preparing to swipe the weapon under Kai and Nya's feet. They yelped and quickly used their elemental powers to push off the ground and slide backward, gasping to look up to see a smug smile on MK's face. "Oh no." Jay said in a disappointing defeat. "What?" Lloyd asked, his head cocked to the side. "I know that look, we got another Kai." Jay grumbled, gesturing to MK who now leaned against his staff, scratching the back of his neck as he waited for Kai and Nya to attack. The idea made Lloyd smirk, he remembered the old days when Kai always acted smug during training. His smugness only grew once he unlocked his inner balance.
Both water and fire users looked at each other. "No holding back?" Nya asked, a smirk on her face. "Yeah, let's go with that." Kai said, now somewhat aware of MK's sudden speed. "You go left, I go right." Nya said, dashing off before Kai could argue. MK's smug grin disappeared as he saw Nya and Kai advancing. So being quick, MK spun the staff and held it up in a protective manner. Kai dashed faster than Nya, to stop to s slide, allowing Kai to attack first. "Woah!" MK said in shock, holding up his staff to block Kai's katana. MK was about to push Kai off and either push him away or trip him, but the monkey kid paused as he felt a sudden heat. He looked down and his eyes went wide, seeing Kai's free hand holding a glowing ball of fire. MK then managed to look at his strong stance as he had to slide to the side, a blast of fire grazing his jacket. "Aw man, this one was my favorite." MK whined, looking down at his jacket that now had a faint burn mark. Nya took this as an opportunity, summing a quick ball of water and shooting it off at MK. MK hummed as he looked up, his eyes going wide as he saw the water inches from his face. "MK, look out!" Mei called, Sandy gasping in fear as MO meowed in alert.
Being quick, MK yelled in surprise, a cloud of gold suddenly appearing. Nya stood in shock as Kai coughed, backing up and swatting away the golden cloud. "What the heck?" Kai asked in between coughs, opening one eye to look around. "Uh.... where did MK go?" Nya asked, seeing her eldest brother was nowhere to be seen. This made Kai whip around, hoping to see MK or at least his staff. "What the- WHERE'D HE GO?!" Kai yelled, Nya hummed as she looked around, a big grin on Wukong's face as MK's friends sighed, the other ninja remaining confused. "Can MK turn invisible?" Cole asked, looking at Macaque as he was closest. Macaque shook his head and then looked at Wukong. His neutral one returned to annoyance. " He turned into a bug, didn't he." Macaque asked, sighing as Wukong's Chesire grin grew more. Back with MK, he had turned into a lady bug. His staff had turned small and was some where, probably in his ear. MK sighed in silent relief as he flew on Kai's shoulder. Then looked up at Kai, a grin growing on his face.
"Come on bro! You said you'd train with us." Kai said as he slumped forward, pouting a bit. But then he yelped as a cloud of gold appeared on his shoulder. MK in his tiny monkey form remained there, sticking his finger in his mouth. He laughed like a normal monkey as he stuck his finger in Kai's ear. "Gotcha!" MK laughed, the ninja, Mei, and Wukong laughed at MK's trick as Kai yelped in disgust and shoved MK off. "Ew, ew, ew, ew!" Kai said, rubbing at his ear as Nya snickered. Ray was whistling as he looked away, Mya, Macaque, and Redson watched in slight disgust at the action while Sandy sighed in relief, happy to see his friend was alright. Iris found herself smiling at the prank. "You just got M.K.O!" MK laughed, turning back to his human form as Kai was now swatting at his ear. MK kept laughing as now Kai began to grab his ninja gi and try to wipe out the wet willy, still disgusted by it. "Hey Kai." Nya snickered, the fire user looking at his sister in annoyance. "I think he messed with your hair." Nya said, trying to stop herself from snickering as she pointed up.
Kai shifted his eyes up as the ninja gasped, knowing how much time Kai took to do his hair. If Cole hadn't confirmed it, everyone would still think Kai uses at least three cans of hair gel on his hair. Upon seeing the hair was now messier than usual, Kai gasped in offense, turning to MK. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Kai said, now charging at MK, who laughed nervously. "WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! IT WAS A JOKE!" MK yelled, running around as everyone either laughed or shook their heads.
I'm back!!!!! Hopefully, I can keep updating
