Part 9

"Are you going to call me a demon too?" The nails of the small boy before Ayumi, dug into his palms, skin breaking and blood threatening to drip. "Why did my father have to be him?"

Ayumi watched as the young "D" continued to rant out his frustrations. Ayumi only approached him, wrapping her arms around him as she gave him a hug. Then she sat down, putting the boy onto my lap as he continued to curse his father.

"No, I will not hate you for your blood. Or for the world's expectations on you."  Ayumi combed his hair as she spoke. "I have another grandson like you... shunned from the world because his father decided to place a so called 'demon' into his son. But he can't help but smile and play pranks on the village he with lives with because he can't stand to be alone, to be ignored."

"What was his name?"

"Naruto Uzumaki."

"Fishcake?" Ayumi laughed at the freckled boy's response.

"Yes... Ace, you are not a demon." Ayumi sighed as she held Ace closer to her body. "If Roger is a demon, what am I?" 

"My grandma." Hands gripped Ayumi's back, as they continued to hug. "The best grandma in the world."

"I hope so!" Ayumi joked. "I love you so much Ace. Even if the world is against you, I'll always stand by your side."

"-are you even listening to me?!" Bonk! BoNk! BONK!

"OW!" Two black haired boys and a blonde boy held their heads as Ayumi glared down at them.

Now the situation before the Red Hair and Whitebeard Pirates was very strange but amusing for them. First off, Ayumi, former 1st Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, had appeared out of nowhere at Maineford, saving Ace, Sabo, and Luffy from Akainu's magma fist. Second, Shanks came out of nowhere and proclaimed to be on their side and to end the war. Third, when Sengoku agreed to end the war, Ayumi healed them and every ally with weird hand movements. Then she proceeded to do another series of hand-movements that teleported the Whitebeard pirates, the allies, and the ships away from Maineford. Finally, Ayumi immediately started to scold the three boys presented before her for being idiotic, slamming a 'fist of love' or something along the lines on their heads.

"You know how much stress you three have caused me!?! It's even worse than the time Roger sold me off to Newgate!" Ayumi threw her hands in the air in frustration. "What did I do to deserve this kind of punishment?!"

"Sorry Granny Ayumi." The ASL siblings hung their heads, sitting before the person that raised them, asking for forgiveness.

"Do you have regrets?" Ayumi's tone was different, making the heads of the Red Haired and Whitebeard pirates spin from the sudden change.

Ace, Sabo, and Luffy looked at each other, nodded, turned back to Ayumi and grinned while saying,

"Nope!" Silence filled the deck as the pirates become tense as they did not know how Ayumi was going to react.

"Well... At least I was able to put something into those idiotic heads of yours." Ayumi sighed, as she scratched the back of her head. "Alright, you're free from my punishment time. Go ahead." Then in a teasing manner, Ayumi shooed them away. The boys grinned as they ran below deck to run rampant.

"You could have at least spared my chefs, you know." Thatch pouted.

"Yes, I could have, but I find amusement in it, so I won't stop it. Like how I won't stop Shanks from harassing Marco." Ayumi shrugged.

"NO, I will NOT join your crew Red Hair!" Marco yelled, marching away from the clingy pirate.

"But I want you to join~!" Shanks teased, of course not being serious... though it's not like he'll stop.

"Shanks, that's enough." Ben said, grabbing the collar of his captain and pulling him away.

Everyone laughed at the sight, enjoying the mood that has been set by the events presented in front of them.

"Gurarararara! Sons, bring out the alcohol, it's time to party!" Newgate proclaimed, as he was cleared by the nurses.

Cups of beer, wine, and sake were passed, and glasses were raised as everyone cheered, "Kanpai!"

A/N Sorry for the late update. Lost a bit of my motivation for writing like I did last time and I wanted to make sure this update was somewhat good before sending it out for you to read.

A/A/N This is the end, I might add more but because One Piece not finished, I can't give it an ending that I wanted to.
