Chapter 4

Matt POV

The sun rays were pouring in through the windows the birds were chirping. I had a good nights sleep but the ceiling didn't look familiar to me somehow. The pillow beneath me was really soft and I felt like snuggling then I realized it was an arm maybe mothers which was warm when I looked up my jaw dropped open.... Akira. Then I realized where I was.

What is she doing here I'm on her bed still why is she holding my hand or was it the other way around. I looked at Akira who was sleeping soundly. She looked more beautiful while asleep than awake.

Her hair was sliding down her pale face to her pink mouth. I felt something weird beginning in my chest confused I let go of her hand what Is this annoying feeling I got off and went out of her room thinking not to wake her up.

I forgot my brother must be home by now I hurriedly ran to the kitchen and made some sandwiches which I could find because I felt hungry and left some extras for her.

I went to check in on her again to make sure to make sure that she was asleep, and then I had an idea I searched for a black marker and began doodling her face. Her forehead read a big idiot plus a moustache below her nose and made her look like a hooligan. I felt like laughing so hard I had to control myself. I snapped pictures of her face from several angles and finished my masterpiece viola.

I was grinning ear to ear and send my pictures to my circle of friends which read with a caption 'guess who this is...' after ten minutes people began liking the image and commenting.

Matt's comment read -where are you and who... WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER FACE?

Lily's read - you're so dead

Peter's was- (cool work a high five)

I thought to myself I'm so dead now she won't speak to me

I had left in a hurry I knew she would be annoyed or who knows as it was Akira she would be relieved of my disappearance. Not annoyed angered maybe when shell realize. I left her a message on the phone.

When I reached home Matt was waiting for me." You know shell definitely kill you" he began, "what were you doing at her place why you weren't here, I was searching for you".

"I gave you your space brother and no one was at home, it was boring" I said folding my arms in front.

I shouldn't have left you alone, did you have breakfast.

Yeah I had some sandwiches at Akira's

"So what did you'll do all night "asked Matt drinking soda pop. I began making pancakes for him.

"Nothing much we talked for a while she brought me hot chocolate by then I was asleep", I had finished with last pieces of pancakes and brought the tray and passed it to Matt. I opened my coke and slushed it down quickly getting up I filled my bags with books for today's class. "Will you hurry up were getting late for school" I reminded Evans. I got hold of my car keys and went to start up the convertible.

At school I tried to avoid Akira as much as possible if she finds me I know that I won't be alive we didn't have our first classes together so I felt relieved. Although lily was in my class and she didn't look happy she was giving me death glares which made me shudder.

Well unlike lily Akira I don't know what her reaction will be so I'll wait for her with the others at the end of school.

But I found her before the day end of the day and she wasn't angry what is it about her that makes her so different from others I wondered...
