It has been a year since the events of summer 84' happened. Fighting demogorgons, and demo-dogs, loosing people, saving people. It was all just one big blur. But in the mist of the monstrosities that a certain group faced, new friendships, relationships, and families came into the light.
Odessa Newby had moved on from her father's death. He still enters her mind from time to time, but she's learned to accept it. Now, the Newby girl was happy with her life again. She had a family, she had friends, she had a boyfriend. But the thing that excited her the most, was there were no more monsters.
The year had gone by quick, Odessa and Steve were now nineteen. Steve had a job at Scoops Ahoy, Eleven and Mike were together, and so were Lucas and Max. Dustin was off at camp and Will was the best little brother Odessa could possibly ask for.
Cindy and Odessa were also extremely close now. Best friends even. They would have girls night every weekend, which consisted of shopping, watching movies, gossiping and other things.
Overall, Odessa was quite happy with her life, she's graduated high school, but she doesn't plan to go to college, which is okay with her, and she works at the movie theater at the Starcourt Mall.
Everything was going great...until it wasn't.
