It was a stormy night outside the On Command house. Thunder and Lightning clash and roar loudly. Rain dripping very hard and puddles everywhere. The wind howled like a wolf and blew a moderate gale. The rest of On Command were relaxing in their own rooms. With Ruby and Mark, they lay down on their bed, reading some books. Clashes of lightning startled the two in surprise.
Mark: Jeez. The storm's giving me a heart attack every time.
Ruby: D-Don't worry, Mark. I do as well, but hey, the storm will end soon.
Another clash of lightning flashes again, startling Ruby as she hugged Mark's arm tight. Mark hushes Ruby to calm her down as he brushes her hair and kisses her forehead. Lightning flashed yet again and caused a power outage. The rest of On Command screamed in fear at a sudden power outage, being heard across the house. Ruby was getting more scared as she hugged Mark tighter and cries softly, shaking. Mark hugged her tight and convinced her to calm down and relax. Mark pulled Ruby closer to him and gave her a small, yet sweet kiss. Ruby falls into it, not minding what Mark's doing. After they broke out, Ruby smiled and even with another lightning flash, Ruby isn't as afraid as she is earlier.
Mark: Don't worry, Ruby. You don't always have to be afraid of anything. You have me, CJ, the team, and our friends. We'll always be right here for you.
Ruby: (Chuckles and puts her forehead near Mark's forehead) Thanks, Mark...
Mark smiled at Ruby and did the same. Suddenly, the door opens. CJ came in with a flashlight in his hand.
CJ: Hey, you two alright?
Mark: CJ...
Ruby: W-We're fine, thanks.
The storm calms down as the sound of hard dripping rain gets softer. There were only sounds of quiet thunders and no flashes of lightning. After a while, the electricity was back on. It was late, so afterward, everyone fell asleep in peace and quiet.
