Chapter 18

-One week later-

Everything was now going fine with the four lions. Daniel, Larmina, Vince, and Flora talks to their parents secretly and also started learning more and more about themselves every time they do.

Daniel, Larmina, and Flora started learning more about their powers and how to work and control them and Vince started learning more about his.

Everytime when they would go out and practice the force would be wondering what they would be doing when they would say they're busy.

Lance, Hunk, and Pidge has been trying to spend time with them like when they were cadets but the answer was always I'm sorry I can't' I'm very busy' 'Not right now' 'I have something important to do' it was just shocking to them but when they would get back they would make up for the times which actually cheers them up.

"Aunt Allura do I have to?" Larmina asked her aunt as they walk down the hall to the main entrance.

"Yes Larmina, this will be good for you. You should be interested since you'll be queen next month." Allura said smiling.

"You had to pull that out, again."

This wasn't the first time this happened it was actually the tenth time. Allura wants Larmina to experience and view being a ruler so when she becomes queen she will have a good idea what to expect.

"Please there's no paper work after this. I have something to do."

"Like what?"

"I can't tell you."

And sometimes Larmina would be going to lake Arus to practice of her powers with her mother but she wasn't ready to tell her aunt yet.

"Larmina you say that all the time, what could you possibly be doing that keeps you busy?"

Allura was really suspicious. She didn't know why but she wants to know.

"I told you I can't tell you, yet. But when the time comes I will."

"Okay then."

Daniel, Vince, and Flora was with the rest of the team in the castle control room talking about battle strategy, tactics, new upgrade ideas, Wade and Lotor.

A lot of things.

Even know Daniel and Vince wasn't cadets no more the guys still wanted them to know stuff that might be helpful in the future. And Flora had came because Larmina was with Allura and she didn't have anything to do.

"Is this what you all do all day?" Flora asked curious.

"Actually yes. Being on the voltron force is about learning this sort of stuff."  Pidge said happily.

"Not only when we were cadets they talked our heads off about it." Daniel said bored making Flora chuckle.

"You was going to be the new pilots." Hunk said.

"But now we aren't because you took us off." Vince reminded.

"Okay we did but it won't hurt to learn something. Beside you three be "busy"." Lance said using air quotes on busy.

"Lance, have you ever thought use being busy is something very very important?" Daniel asked.

"Well no.."

"It's alright we get it and do miss hanging out with you guys."

Vince nods in agreement.

"Phew we thought you guys thought you were too old enough to have out without us." Hunk said.

"Technically, we're almost adults but you guys aren't much older then us so why would we think you're old?" Vince said.

"Maybe because they feel old." Daniel laughed.

"Hey I'll have you know this red lion pilot will never look or feel old." Lance said.

"Whatever you say Lance."

Larmina sighs as the last council member leaves and rubs her cheeks.

"I won't be smiling for awhile." She said tiredly.

"Oh Larmina you did great!" Allura said smiling proudly.

"Indeed, you have more knowledge than I ever known." Coran said smiling proudly as well.

"Well thanks."

Every time Allura would bring Larmina into the conversation with the council, she would have some good answers.

Allura saw that this was actually helping Larmina learn more about royal work but she will give her a break for a while before more show up.

She couldn't be any less proud.
