(A/N: I know I promised a winter recess part, so here it is. Nobody likes school so we skip🥰)

Ah, winter recess. Christmas, the holiday with many reasons.

Presents, santa, snow and many more.

It snows a lot in japan, i've noticed that.

Venti planned for us to all do a secret santa on Christmas.

Today we're going to the mall for a bit.

Who's 'we' you may be asking?

Well. Childe, me, kazuha, albedo, kaeya and maybe diluc.

Diluc has been pretty busy, and he just got a new house recently.

He said he'd try to make it, but he can't promise.

We all arrived to the mall quickly, venti leading the way.

I looked around, remembering when me and childe first went to the mall.

Childe dragged me over to a narwhal, showing me it.

"Aw, thats cute." I smiled, holding it.

"Not cuter then me." Childe smirked, striking a pose.

I chuckled, bopping him on the head with the narwhal.

Venti called us over, and childe frowned a bit.

"Something wrong?" I asked, looking at him.

"Oh, no. It's nothing." He smiled, and i shrugged it off.

Venti was explaining how we'd each have a money limit.

Our limit was 6,000 yen, which wasn't that bad.

Childe decided he'd pay for me, and I didn't complain.

We walked around for a little bit, then decided to get coffee.

"I'll get this candy cane scented candle." Childe grinned, showing me it.

I chuckled "alright, i'll get the same one." 

We walked back to the group, holding a couple bags.

I perked, seeing Diluc.

"Oh, hello diluc!" I waved, running up and hugging him.

Childd frowned a bit, picking up the bags i dropped.

"I didn't think you'd come!" I smiled, backing up a bit.

Diluc smiled slightly "well i got off work early, so I decided to come."

I nodded, and started to talk with Diluc for a bit.

Venti nudged childe, causing him to jump a little.

"Eh- why are you so tense?" Venti chuckled a bit.

Childe shook his head "you surprised me, thats all."

Venti shrugged, then went off to do something.

I walked back to childe, smiling.

"Do you want to head to another coffee shop?" I asked.

Childe raised a brow "just us?" 

I nodded "yeah, Diluc has to do something with some people."

Childe smiled, then grabbed my wrist and ran off.

"Bye venti!" I managed to yell, waving a little.

Venti chuckled, crossing his arms.

"Ah.. young love." He snickered.
