In the world today, there is a lot of migration for one reason or the other. Some are looking for better opportunities to exploit or want their skills to be exploited. The world will never be what it is today without these movements. We move, we learn, and we apply. That is what makes us grow.

In the old times, people moved from one place to another and copied things that they came back and applied. It made them great.

Life is a continuous movement and unless we accomplish our purpose, movement is useless.

This is part of a true life story where some African youth travels in search of greener pastures. No offense to Americans and Europeans, this story is just me trying to tell everyone out there that you can make it big time in your own country.

Though the geographical location has a say in our success, our determination is what makes us achieve the goal wherever we find ourselves. You can go anywhere; just make sure to use the right and legal route and to be in God's plan.

I have aspirations to one day leave my country for one or two opportunities I have seen out there, but the difference I plan to make is that I will use legal means and also ask for God's guidance. God is the center of your life, in anything you do, put him first.

If African youths can understand this, they will succeed anywhere they find themselves.

This story tries to show in detail the tedious journey some Africans make to America and other European countries. ( There is a safe way to travel out of your country, you may want to try it out). You will be disappointed to think it all ends in ruin.

One thing we should have in mind is that we may all succeed, but how we achieve our success is what determines if we will stay successful. Success is not all about acquiring the wealth and riches of the world. It is about impacting people, making them an asset to their generation.

Always ask yourself this question;
In my success, am I in the plan of God for my life? Am I doing his will?'

SYNOPSIS

Leaving plenty to a promise of plenty, failing to realize that a promise is a firm assurance and assurance is a firm declaration which is all just words, and as they say, words are 'sweet nothings' that once spoken cannot be reversed and its consequences which are always backed by actions will always leave us with a story to tell.

Talia forsakes her bright future for a brighter one or so she thought, she finds true comfort and love which to her are pointers that she is on the right path. But being transported on the dark deck of a ship, cramped like a sardine for days with dead bodies under hard conditions of no water and food makes her rethink her options. Indeed not all that glitters is gold.

N: B: This is a story of some African youths who decide to take the other road in search of greener pastures.
