Dazai - Atsushi's POV

It was a regular day at the armed detective agency, the day was peaceful, we had a few calls but Rampo easily solved them.

Dazai has been busy a lot lately, akutagawa even texted me (Yeah Akutagawa texting me!) because Chuuya was busy as well and he heard that they were both working together on something... Dazai working with Chuuya?!

Could Akutagawa be tricking me? He said that he would stop killing for 3 months and I doubt that Akutagawa would pull a prank, he's not like that.

It was so unusual. Akutagawa texted me to tell me this an hour ago and until now I'm trying to figure out how to respond because I myself, don't know the situation fully.

I tried asking Kunikida about it but when I told him he was extremely angry, he said he didn't know anything about this situation...

I was horrified, Dazai is strong but... if he didn't even tell us, let alone Kunikida, then... then I don't even want to imagine the situation he's in.

The thought of Dazai being in danger scared me, it scared me a lot, Dazai is my closest friend.

He always says as a joke that he wished to commit suicide but what if he really did...

The day I met him, he would've drowned if I hadn't rescued him.

Kunikida got more concerned after he saw my reaction, he immediately called everyone to ask them about Dazai and what he could be doing with Chuuya... CHUUYA!

Everyone said they didn't know anything about this "mission" Dazai was on so I decided to call Akutagawa because if Dazai is with Chuuya then The Port Mafia has to know something, right?

I was starting to second guess my decision on asking the Port Mafia for information but then I found myself already ringing Akutagawa.

Akutagawa: Have you found anything out about Dazai and Chuuya?

How straightforward...

Atsushi: No, actually I wanted to ask you if the Port Mafia knows anything.

Akutagawa: You're an idiot.

Atsushi: Hey!

Akutagawa: If the Port Mafia knew anything, why the hell would I ask you.

He has a point...

Atsushi: Fine, tell me if you find something!

Akutagawa: You better do the same were-tiger!

Atsushi: Yeah, Yeah and I have a name by the way!

Akutagawa: Yeah, Yeah - he says mocking me -

*hangs up*

Ugh he's so annoying.

Anyway, I have to focus on finding Dazai.

Kunikida: ATSUSHI!

When I heard Kunikida shouting my name, my heart dropped to my stomach because I knew it had something to do with Dazai... please be okay Dazai

I ran to Kunikida as fast as I could as if I would die if I didn't head there straight away.

When I got there, everyone's faces looked as if they had seen a murder.
