Tara and Amber definitely didn't have the best relationship. It gets worse each and every day. They barely talk to each other, but they each refuse to leave the other because they love each other too much.

Also, they have children and they didn't want their family being split up. They wanted nothing more than to work this out but it's like neither of them were even trying. They're both way too stubborn.

Amber slept on the couch most nights, not even wanting to be in the same bed as Tara. They didn't know why or how it got this bad.

At first they were able to hide the fighting from their children but as it kept getting worst, it kept getting harder to hide.

Their oldest daughter, Skylar, started picking up on it first. She's only seven but she definitely can tell when people starts disliking each other.

It took their son, Cairo, a little longer to understand because he was only five, but he's also old enough to understand.

When they first decided to have kids they were so happy with each other. They did the process that allowed both of them to be biologically related to the children (A/N: pretend that's how it works).

For a long time after having kids they were extremely happy. "The perfect family" so to speak. Them despising each other only started a couple months ago.

It's like something just shifted, changed, in their marriage out of no where.

Tara was currently cooking for her family while their kids sat on the couch fighting over what to watch. "Just pick something and leave it," Tara said, looking over at them.

"Fine," Skylar huffed, letting her little brother take the remote.

She finished cooking and set the table with all of their food and drinks. "Can you call your mama and tell her the food is done," Tara said, directing that question towards Cairo.

Cairo smiled and nodded before running up the stairs.

"Why couldn't you do it, mommy?" Skylar asked, walking over to the kitchen island. She knew exactly why she couldn't do it. The children had heard them fighting once again not too long ago.

Tara just sighed and ignored her daughter's question. Not too long after, Amber and Cairo came back down the stairs but Amber was dressed up really nicely with a black dress along with black heels and her hair was curled.

Tara furrowed her eyebrows, "Where are you going?" She asked her wife. "Out with my friends," Amber said with a lot of attitude.

"But I just cooked," Tara said, sitting across from her kids. "I'll eat later," Amber said, walking over to Skylar and Cairo, kissing them on their heads.

"I'll be back later," she said, leaving out the house. She waited out there for about five minutes before a car pulled up. Inside was Mindy driving and Liv in the passenger seat.

She greeted them and got in the backseat, immediately starting conversation.

"Where are we going?" Amber asked, placing her bag down on the middle seat next to her. "The club, duh," Mindy said. "Where else would we be going at seven pm?" Liv chuckled.

Amber just nodded her head and looked out the window. They arrived at the club after maybe ten minutes of driving.

They all got out the car before Mindy pulled out her phone, snapping a quick picture of the three of them and posting it.

They paid to get into the club and walked in, their eyes lighting up at all the colors and alcohol, but mainly the alcohol.

They took a seat at the bar, Amber immediately noticing the bartender clearly checking her out. Amber smiled and blushed, turning her head away.
