Amber decided to pick of the kids from school and keep them over night, but of course she texted Tara first to make sure it was okay, receiving just a one answer response.

Amber sighed and looked back at the schools double doors, watching as her kids and a bunch of other children came running out of the building.

"Hey, slow down," Amber chuckled as Skylar and Cairo gave her a hug. "I missed you guys," Amber said, pulling away from the hug.

"It's only been like seven hours," Skylar responded, helping her little brother into the car. "So? I can't miss my children?" Amber asked, chuckling once again.

Skylar just shrugged before getting into the car as well. Amber made sure both of them were strapped in safely before driving off.

She had already asked Liv and Chad if it was okay for her to bring the kids over there for the night and of course they said it was fine. They loved their niece and nephew. Their kids were excited to spend time with Skylar and Cairo too.

Liv and Chad had a six year old daughter, Olivia, and a four year old daughter, Aliana. Cairo was the only boy but he still loved his cousins.

"Hey, kids. How would you feel about staying with me at Auntie Liv and Uncle Chad's house?" Amber asked, taking her eyes off the road for a quick second to look at her kids through the mirror.

"Is mommy coming?" Cairo asked, staring out the window.

"No, baby. Not this time," Amber said, she knew one of them was going to ask that question.

Both children just frowned before Skylar spoke up, "I want to play with my cousins," she said, starting to smile a little bit.

"Me too!" Cairo quickly agreed. Amber smiled and the rest of the car ride was silent. She still had to go to Tara's place to pick up some clothes for the kids.

She honestly was a bit scared to. Scared that she would be either turned away at the door or make Tara cry again just by being there.

Sure Skylar could borrow clothes from Olivia or Aliana but Cairo obviously couldn't.

She decided on just going to the nearest store and buying him an outfit for tomorrow and something to sleep in for the night.

She helped both of the kids out of the car and walked into the store holding onto each other's hands.

Amber grabbed the first pair of pajamas she found along with a white shirt and pants for tomorrow. She decided to buy new pajamas and clothes for Skylar as well.

When they got back into the car, Amber surprisingly received a text from Tara.

Tara: Did you pick up the kids?

Amber quickly typed out a reply.

Amber: Yes, they're with me right now.

She went back and forth in her head trying to decided weather or not she should send the next message she had typed out. Ultimately she just decided to send it.

Amber: How are you feeling?

Of course she didn't receive a reply right away... or at all. By the time they arrived at Chad and Liv's house, there was still no reply.

Amber sighed and gathered Skylar and Cairo's things together before helping both of them out of the car.

When they got into the house, They were quickly greeted by their perfect uncle, aunt, and cousins.

"Hi, my precious babies!," Liv squealed, practically running to pick up Cairo, "Auntie, put me down!," Cairo chuckled, squirming out of her arms.

Liv chuckled and leaned over to kiss Skylar's head, while Chad hugged Cairo. "No love for me?" Amber asked, faking sadness and pouting.
