Tara didn't get any sleep last night, she spent most of the night thinking about everything and crying her eyes out.

She tried to sleep, but she couldn't. She knew she wouldn't be able to but it didn't hurt to try. Well.. actually it did hurt to try. Every time she closed her eyes all she could think about is Amber kissing on another woman.

Tara wiped her tears and stood up from her bed, going to the bathroom, attempting to hide the fact that she was crying all night from her children.

Her eyes were extremely red and there really wasn't anything she could do about that, so she was ready for the questions she knew they were going to ask.

She wiped one more stray tear from her eye before going to wake the kids. She went into Skylar's room first because surprisingly she was more of a morning person than Cairo.

"Wake up, Sky," Tara said, shaking her daughter lightly as Skylar began groaning before sitting up completely.

Tara kissed her forehead and quickly tried to turn back around so she couldn't see her bloodshot eyes.

"Where's mama? You guys usually wake us up at the same time," Skylar said, following her mother to her brother's room.

"Mama had to go some where this morning," Tara said, voice cracking just a little but she managed to cover it up.

Skylar knew something wrong, and Tara felt bad for lying to her but they'll tell them both at the right time.

Skylar lightly tapped her brothers face, making him turn over the other way. She tapped it again a little harder this time, making him shoot up out of his sleep. "Stop hitting him," Tara said, sitting down on his bed.

Skylar just chuckled and sat down as well. "Where's mama?" He asked, still holding that same teddy bear from the previous night.

Tara sighed but before she could answer Skylar said, "She had to go somewhere."

"Where?" The five year old asked, looking back up at his mother. "None of your business," Skylar said.

Cairo just rolled his eyes and walked out of his bedroom followed by Skylar. Tara sighed a breath of relief, happy that her daughter said what she did so she could avoid the awkward silence or awkward conversation.

She followed behind her kids shortly after, seeing them at the table with bowls of cereal. "I could've cooked you guys something," Tara said, trying to smile.

"It's okay, mommy, you look tired," Skylar said. "I am," Tara mumbled before taking her seat in front of Cairo.

Tara took her phone out her back pocket once she heard the text message notification.

Amber
Tara, baby, I needed to tell you again how sorry I am. I never meant for that to happen. You and the kids are the most important people in my life and I really don't want to throw our family away over my very stupid mistake. Please please forgive me.

Tara
Are you picking the kids up from school today?

It hurt her to ignore Amber's entire message but she knew it was for the better. She didn't deserve any of this going on with her right now and it was all Amber's fault.

Amber
Yes, but can we please talk?

Tara
There is absolutely nothing to talk about. Just worry about the kids.

Tara placed her phone down on the table and placed her head down on it a few seconds later. "Are you okay?" Cairo whispered, concerned.

Tara sniffled and pulled her head up, "I'm fine, baby, I promise," she said, plastering a noticeable fake smile on her face.
