Eleven:
- At first she doesn't understand the weight of the 3 words and says it back casually until she goes home and tells Joyce
- She gets really excited for her and explains how much it means so the next time she sees you she makes sure to say it more lovingly

Dustin:
- He stares at you for a moment taking in what you said which lead to you asking you questions out of concern that he didn't like it
- When he finally processes it he will get super excited and hug you yelling it back happily

Will:
- He grins and is very happy that someone feels so deeply about him he will tell you it means a lot to him
- After he does he says that he loves you back and doesn't want to lose you making a more serene yet romantic moment

Lucas:
- He is in shock and asks you if you really mean it even though he knows you did
- When you say you did he gets really happy and engulfs you in a hug however he tells you it back another time when he felt like it'd be most memorable

Mike:
- He probably tells you first as he planned it through in his head and knew when he wanted to tell you which was before when you were able to say it
- When you said it, even if it isn't around the same time he did, he was very happy you felt the same way and always brings up in conversation

Max:
- She was taken aback but then said it back with no hesitation because she knew it felt right
- She told you that it did feel right and she was happy you said it so much that she told the group that you'd said it to each other when she saw them next

Billy:
- He already knew you did so just said 'I was waiting for you to say that' very seductively
- He immediately let you know he felt the same way but it was through interactions not words and he ended up telling you some other time when he felt ready

Steve:
- He immediately looked in your face to check if you really meant it but when he saw you did he kissed you
- Afterwards he said it back and you both knew that you really meant it and it was right (he definitely told Robin about how hyped he was when he did)

Johnathan:
- He immediately got butterflies he was so taken aback from it but he loved those words he asked you to say it again
- When you did he told you it back and hugged and definitely thought about it for days

Nancy:
- Her jaw dropped and then she grinned, telling you it a million times to make sure you knew she felt the same way back
- Afterwards the PDA was slightly more than usual for a while as she was so happy with your relationship and how comfortable you were with each other

Robin:
- Her eyes widened and you could tell a hundred thoughts were going through her brain at once before she said 'you know what's funny is that I feel the same way about you'
- You laughed at her humour before you both kissed and hugged even if other people were there she really couldn't care less in this moment

Eddie:
- He was surprised you felt that way about him and asked you 'really?' so you have to confirm that you really loved him no matter what
- When you told him that it must've looked like he was attacking you to anyone else the way he hugged you and he told you it back many times

Joyce:
- She is used to her kids saying it to her so she says it back it automatically and so casually it takes you by surprise
- When she realises what happens she says it again and you both hug as you realise the weight of what you just said to each other

Hopper:
- At first he is like 'huh?' and after a moment of processing what happened he sighs and says he loves you way more
- You end up having a playful argument about who loves the other more which comes to an inconclusive decision

Murray:
- He immediately grew suspicious as he  hasn't been told that before but when he figured you weren't lying he gave in and said it back
- He kissed you after and gave you a heartfelt thank you for being his special someone
