2022-07-20: Hey, here is a preview of the story's next chapter. Please, bear in mind that it is, as mentioned, a preview. Some parts of it might not be included in the final release. I will try to finish this chapter as soon as possible. I would like to clean up some of the tasks in my schedule, and right now, there are many chapters queued there.

Info: Overall, the current plan is for me to write 'My home is where my heart lies' and 'Family tree' alternatively. Between the updates of these stories, I will try to upload other texts. Maybe, just maybe, I will be able to finish some of the short stories. However, I truly doubt that. It seems that most if not all of the stories will be extended both in terms of the time and the number of chapters.

Info: I will try to rewrite some of the older chapters between releasing new ones. I expect to start working on that goal in the middle of January. So, please be informed that the new chapters might take a bit longer to be finished and published.

Kai'sa woke up when the sun's rays fell upon her beautiful face. But, even though she desperately wanted to prolong her blissful residence in Morpheus's realm, she ultimately failed. Still, the raven-haired woman tried to protect her eyes from these shining rays for a few fleeting moments. But, the longer the struggle took, the more apparent it became that it was a futile endeavour. So finally, she gave up, slowly rising from her bed. As the dancer carefully stepped out of her sheets, she stretched a little. It was an incredible feeling, but it was not allowed to last indefinitely. One could say that it ended as soon as it began.

It took the rave-haired woman a few seconds to mentally prepare herself to face the upcoming day. Then, whilst keeping her eyes shut closed, she slowly moved around the room that she knew oh-so-well. But, as it usually is in life, all the good things do not last forever. Soon enough, Kai'sa opened her eyes, trying to keep a small smile on. Then, a sudden realisation kicked in. With her face slightly flushed, she turned around instantaneously.
