𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚗 𝙺𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚠𝚊

"Hm... I'm into the feel and all, but... won't this be too dark?" I ask as I stood still with my arms on my hips staring around the place as Shinju-chan's head perks up while Y/n-san was gazing at the entrance.

"It's fine. We have a flash." I look back at Shinju-chan as we walk forward, exploring a bit deeper into this studio. "Oh, so you're invincible, huuuh?!" I tease as I smile. 

"You can use flashes and reflectors outside too, so they;re good to have on hand." Listening from Shinju-chan, I then added a question. "Even though it's already bright out there?" 

"Yes-" As she spoke, Y/n-san catches up towards us as she overhears our conversation. 

"Well, Marin-san, the type of lightning that you use is the most important element in the composition of any image, light in photography refers to how the light source-" 

I slowly bite my lip as she continues to explain how important light is, I gaze at her from top to bottom then staring at her facial features, it's adorable how she goes geek mode when it's about photography. 

"-So much of your lighting choices will depend on the features of the subject and how you want them to be portrayed in your photos." After giving me, well us, Shinju-chan lengthy speech, I nod my head then hear Shinju-chan speak up.

"In direct light, where the light comes straight at them, the subject tends to squint." Hard on the eyes huh. "Back-lightning, where the light is behind the subject, makes their skin looks pretty." Makes it easy to look wide-eyed hm, "That said, backlighting puts their face in shadow... so you use a reflector to brighten it." 

"Also, around noon, the light comes from directly over-head... so it casts shadows on the subjects' face. If you use a fill flash though you can minimize their impact... Right Y/n-san?" She turns around to see Y/n-san clapping her hands with a smile on her face.

After she whistles, she speaks in a soft but firm tone. "Well done! You explaining it was superb!" She then comes up to Shinju-chan and pat her head, ruffling her hair a bit as she then turns to me. "If you want, we can look around a photography shop around the city." Is she asking me out on a date? If so-

"Yes! I would love to go!" Taking her hand to mine as I lean a bit closer to her, close enough that our shoes are touching one another. Wide-eyed and a flustered look on her face as she steps back a bit with a cough then clears her throat. "W-well is there anything you wanted to add onto that Shinju-chan?" 

I almost forgot that Shinju-chan's there, I slowly lower my head as I shove my hands onto my pockets- Imaginary pockets!? Why is it that every time these jean's style pants and shorts dont have pockets but look like they have pockets!

"The lightning shines through wigs as well to make them sparkle and look all glossy...I really do recommend backlighting." 

"Th-that's epic!" If Y/n-san didn't back away just then, or Shinju-chan wasn't there, maybe I couldn't hold myself back there. "I'd like to try that someplace flattering and glowy toooo! Where do you go to take outdoor photos, Shinju-chan or Y/n-san?"

Shinju-chan blinks her eyes a bit then responds a bit embarrassed. "Our yard..."  

"I didn't think about any of that when people were taking my photo at the cosplay event. So, the photographers- well Y/n-san, were doing all sorts of stuff, huh...?" We continue to walk through the abandoned hospital with Y/n-san trailing along with us. "I'd say so!"
