"What's the date?" Five sighed as he slammed the carboard on the table, turning around to grab the necessities for his snack. "The exact date."

"The 24th." Vanya answered.

"Of what?" He pushed, grabbing bread.

"March," she answered.

He paused looking at the table in thought. This was a good sign, he wasn't to far back of 2019 but he had hoped for a little more time. "Good."

"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther questioned. Five simply spread out his bread ignoring Luther's idiotic investigation. "It's been 17 years." The man got up from his chair to gain the boy's attention and to seem superior.

Five let out a scoff turning to glare at Luther. "It's been a lot longer than that." He then blinked behind Luther to looking for his next ingredient.

"I haven't missed that."

"Where'd you go?" Diego's voice rang out.

"The future." He grabbed the marshmallows and blinked back to where he was. "It's shit, by the way."

"Called it!" Klaus yelled as he sat perched on top of the table. Everyone either simply rolled their eyes or ignored him, most did the latter.

The boy stalked fridge, "I should've listened to the old man. You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice." Unscrewing the cap to the peanut butter, he looked up to his family but stared at Klaus's clothing. "Nice dress."

"Oh, well, danke!" He smiled.

Vanya voiced her thoughts, "Wait how did you get back?"

"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." Five explained, as he spread the peanut butter on his bread. The rest of his family looked at him confused by the scientific words he used, how did he know what is what?

"That make's no sense." Diego uttered.

"Well, it would if you were smarter." Five sassed, not sparring his brother a glance.

Diego stood up quickly ready to prance on Five, even if he looks like a child. Unfortunately, Luther placed in arm Infront of him stopping Diego's plans. "How long were you there?"

"Forty-Five years. Give or take."

They stare at the boy with wide eyes, shocked at the statement he said. Luther and Diego both sat back down shocked. "So what are you saying? That you're 58?"

Five shook his head. "No, my conscious is 58. Apparently, my body is now 16."

"Wait, how does that even work?" Vanya shook her head confused.

Grabbing his now finished peanut butter-marshmallow sandwich, Five turned around staring off to the wall. "Delores kept saying the equations were off." He shrugged and took a bite turning to his family. "Bet she's laughing now."

He spoke with his mouth full making Allison want to scold him but refrained from doing so. "Delores?" Vanya questioned.

Five ignored her wiping off the crumbs by his mouth, as he looked for something. That was when he caught a glimpse of the newspaper stating Reginald's death, of course Five knew about it. Five picked it up staring at the headline's, "Guess I missed the funeral."
