                                     "No matter how hard you work, someone is always working harder"

Lyra's POV

I wake up to water being thrown at me, I gasp as my eyes shot open. I see two guys standing in front of me and a man standing by a door.

"WHAT THE FUCK MAN, I"M ANEMIC DICKHEADS" I screamed at them while shivering

They look at each other and then back at me with confused faces.

"A what now?" the man who was Givanni asked, I remember following him and then basically getting kidnapped and taken to this place, and the other one looked like Blake Valentino his cousin.

"I don't have enough blood cells in my body, and I get cold easily dumbass," I said rolling my eyes with an attitude voice.

"Watch it bitch" he said back

"Whatchu gonna do kill me?"

"I might"

"Well then hurry up and get it over with already jeez"

God these men are dumb why not just get it over with then just stand here and talk all day!

They looked at each other again and then back at me

"Why were you following him," Blake said

"Because I wanted to Blake Valentino," I said looking down at the ground

"How the hell do you know my name," He said while grabbing my jaw with force, and man did it hurt.

"Maybe you should ask Giovanni," I said looking over at Giovanni

"What the hell is she talking about Gio"

"I don't know man, If I meet this chick I would remember"

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU AND WHY WERE YOU FOLLOWING GIO?" Blake said raising his voice and gripping my face tighter.

"The names Lyra Reign, and your cousin over there left a piece of his hair on a dead body, I took it back home and ran some tests and found out it belong to Giovanni," I said rolling my eyes.

Man, this guy was so hot but was an ass. Blake let go of my jaw and walked back to Giovanni, he whispered something to Giovanni and Giovanni looked mad and whispered something back to him.

Finally looking back at me Blake asked "What do you want from us," he said in a stern voice

I looked at him confused "What the hell are you talking about, I don't want shit from you guys"

"Sure, are you here to kill us? spy on us?" Blake said rolling his eyes

"Why the hell would I spy on you? and I do want something, I want you to let me go"

Blake and Giovanni walk out the door and left me there. They were supposed to untie me so I could go back home and sleep not walk away from me.

"HELLO, DON'T LEAVE ME IN HERE, I WANT TO GO HOME AND SLEEP DAMMIT," I said raising my voice hoping they can hear me

A few minutes go by until the door opens again and Blake walks through. He walks over to me and just stares at me, It was kinda creepy but I just kept looking at him and his gorgeous eyes wait what the hell am I saying they kidnapped me.

"Will let you go, but you are gonna be my assistant or we could kill you," Blake said like it was nothing

" I don't even know what you guys do," I said looking straight into his eyes.

"Isn't obvious, we're in the mafia" He said like it was soooooo obvious that I knew what they do.

"Wait as in like killing, and shit like that?" I asked kinda terrified
