Once I arrived at my room, I took off my sweater and shoes.

Then I laid down on my bed for a while.

I thought about that odd presence that I felt back there at the pond.

It scared me to even think about it.

So to try and forget it, I decided to draw.

I pulled out my sketchbook and began.

After a while of drawing, I decided I was gonna go shower.

This time my shower took about 15 minutes.

When I was done, I decided to read a book.

I read 5 chapters and was about to finish the last paragraph when I heard knocking.

I think I know who it is...

"What do you want Miles?" I said annoyed.

"How did..? You know what? It doesn't matter. I need to talk to you."

"Well Mr. Fairchild, I'm busy at the moment. So no, now go flirt with Kate or something."

{ •Miles' Point Of View• }

"Ugh, this girl is so fucking stubborn." I said to myself annoyingly.

"You know what? I WILL." I said angrily.

I then stormed off.

"Why do I even bother with that brat?" I asked myself as I went outside for some air.

When I was outside, I sat on the bench near the gate.

After about 5 minutes of pure silence, I heard someone walking outside the gates.

"Who's there?" I asked as I got up.

"Woah, hey there." A 5'3, blonde girl said as she walked up to the gates.

"What were you trying to do?" I asked suspiciously.

She giggled and replied,

"Oh, you know, just walking around."

She seemed cool, but at the same time a little suspicious.

"You like being alone?" I asked.

"Yeah, what about you? Why are you out here?"

"I just wanted fresh air," I replied.

She stared at me for a second before replying,

"So, what's your name, cutie?"

I raised my right eyebrow and replied,

"My name is Miles, What's your name?"

"Maddie, it's a pleasure to meet you." She said sticking her hand out.

I looked at her hand and stared at it for a bit.

"Yeah, you too," I said shaking her hand.

She smirked and said,

"See you tomorrow, Miles~."

She then walked off.

I didn't believe her.

"Just walking around? But the neighbor is far away from this shit hole...So whether somebody told her about this area or she was in fact just walking around." I thought.

"well, I guess I'll go back inside," I said as I walked back.
