I woke up quite excited today.

I took a 20-minute shower and got ready.

I had everything I needed, so I headed to the mansion.

Once I arrived, I waited 2 minutes outside the gates.

Then, Miles came out.

"Hey, Miles," I said as I flipped my long, dirty blonde hair.

He gave me an affiliative smile and said,

"Hey, Mad."

"EKKK! HE ALREADY GAVE ME A NICKNAME!!!" I squealed inside my head.

"So, what are you going to do today?" I asked while blushing.

"Uh, I don't know." He said plainly.

I smiled and said,

"Well, uh..."

"Hm?" He said looking up at me with his tired eyes.

"Are you going to invite me in or..." I said awkwardly.

"Oh, right!" He said as he opened the gates.

"So, is it just you here or..."

"No. I live with my sister, Flora. Kate, Mr. Grose, and Y/N."

"Oh, interesting," I said smiling awkwardly not knowing who they were.

We walked inside and it was huge.

"Woah..." I said as I looked around.

"Yeah, it's pretty huge." He said as he put his hands in his pockets.

"I'd love to meet everyone!" I said as I looked at him.

He hesitated but agreed to it.

Miles lead me to the kitchen.

Where I saw an old lady cooking.

"Mrs. Grose." He said.

The old lady turned around and looked at me.

"And who is this beautiful young lady, Miles?"

"Mrs. Gross, this is Maddie. Maddie, this is Mrs. Grose." He said as he sighed.

"Hi! It's a pleasure, Mrs. Grose." I said as I shook her hand.

"Alright, let's go." Miles said.

"Oh, ok," I said as I followed him out of the kitchen.

We went up some stairs, before entering a room.

"Ahem..." He said.

A woman with short blonde hair look at me and said,

"Who is this, Miles?"

"Kate, this is Maddie. Maddie, this is Kate."

"Pleasure, Kate," I said smiling.

She gave me a fake smile.

Miles grabbed me by my wrist and dragged me out.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it." He replied sternly.

We walked down the stairs and through a hallway.

Then, I saw a little girl walking out of what I assumed was her room.

She had the creepiest doll ever.

She gasped and said,

"Oh, my god! You are so pretty."

I giggled and said,

"Aw! Thank you, sweetie."

"Flora, this is Maddie. Maddie, this is my little sister, Flora."

Miles said.

"It's a pleasure, Flora!"

I said sticking out my hand.

Flora was about to shake my hand, when this other girl busted the door open.

"Woah!" Miles said sounding more alive.

"You okay there?" He asked her.

This girl giggled awkwardly and looked at me.

"Oh, right! Y/N, this is Maddie. Maddie, this is Y/N." Miles said.

"Nice to meet you, YN," I said sticking out my hand.

"Yeah, you too, Maddie." She said looking at my hand.

Miles then whispered something to Y/N, to which she rolled her eyes and pushed him playfully.

He chuckles and lead me to his bedroom.

I took one last glance at Y/N and she was giving the dead eye.

"Are they dating?" I asked myself.

I saw as they walked into Miles's room.

My blood boiled.

"Are you ok?" Flora asked.

"Oh, yeah." I said as my eye twitched a bit.

"Okay!" Flora said smiling.

I smiled and walked back into my room.

I felt like destroying my room but I didn't.

"I'm sure they're just friends." I said as I tried to calm down.

I kept hearing them talk and laugh.

"I'm going to kill her..." I said as I pulled my hair.
