hi so uhm next chapter is taking too long to write and i realised the LACK of kirin appreciation in this book so i wanna make up for that with a fun fact chapter about her because i'm the biggest fucking supernova stan ever and none of you bitches cld ever compare

~ she plays the flute and piano

~ she's named after a mythical creature in chinese
culture called the kirin, which has the head of a dragon 
and the body of a horse.

~ yuki's nickname for her is rinnie

~ she stans mamamoo and twice (MOONBYUL
AND MINA BIASED)

~ she learned most of her korean from yuki teaching her
  in high school (INFRCIIUBI I WANT THEIR FRIENDSHIP SO BAD)

~ she was the lead vocalist in the high school band
and still is in supernova

~ she was the top of her class her whole life. GIRLIE'S SMART.

kirin lived in japan until the age of sixteen, when her and her parents immigrated to korea after her older sister, mirae (haha bet u didn't see that one coming losers) got accepted into starship entertainment.

there she went to fancy private school where she met yuki and lexha. she wasn't really close with lexha, but extremely close with yuki (bcs yuki was the only person she hung out with bcs socialising ahhh scary ykwim).

one normal day when she was on a voice call with yuki and lexha (mind you she still wasn't really very close with lex, yuki just added her into the call and she didn't want to be mean so she didn't say anything LMAO) and they were talking about the school band, which they were all apart of. and then lexha made a joke abut them auditioning for hybe.

BUT MISS YUKI DID NOT TAKE IT AS A JOKE. 

the next day the three of them were auditioning for hybe, covering 'idol' by bts.

and then it went back to normal high school life, the stress, the chaos, and the unstable sleep schedules.

until two months later, when kirin opened her email, seeing one unread email from from hybe labels.

it took an hour of convincing for her parents to let her go to the auditions, after all mirae was eighteen when she had gotten into starship. but once they were convinced kirin was packing her bags.

her, lex and yuki got accepted into the company and trained together before they found out that they would be competing in a survival show.

at the start of the show kirin was at a very low rank whilst lex and yuki were way higher than her, so she was forced to do her demo stage with other girls around her rank. these other girls hated her guts for no reason and always discouraged her, saying she would never make it into the final lineup.

but our best girl showed so much improvement during the show and ended up debuting at rank 1 (i'm so proud of my baby)!

i'm actually thinking of writing a book about rinnie's pov of the survival show once tyd is like completely finished but then again i kinda just spoiled the whole plot so what wld be the point LMFAO but thats a while from now soooo we'll have to see 😶

this was so fun to write istg and this made me realise I FUCKING LOVE KIRIN OH MY GOD
