They started playing. Ron led them pretty well, always trying his best to avoid his friends getting hurt.

After a while, the number of black pieces eaten by the whites kept increasing. That's when Ron's face suddenly darkened.

Ron: I see... There's no other way...
He said, chuckling bitterly.

Harry and Hermione gave him a puzzled look. That's when Y/N's eyes widened in realization.
Y/N: Ron, Don't you dare!
He shouted.

Ron: Don't you understand that there's no other way?!
He yelled. Y/N looked at him.

Y/N: But-
He was about to say, but Ron cut him off.
Ron: Do you want to get the Stone or not?!
He shouted, shutting the boy up.

Ron: Listen carefully, Harry, Y/N. You're the only ones who can get that Stone. Not me, not Hermione but You. Once I make my move, Harry, you do yours and you'll win.
He said.

Y/N closed his eyes. He didn't want to see that, when it had to happen.

Ron took a deep breath.
Ron: Horse in E5.
He said, his voice slightly shaking, but still smiling reassuringly at them.

Soon after, there was a loud thud. The white queen had smashed the Horse, making Rob fall to the ground and then, she threw him into a wall, knocking him unconscious.

Hermione: Ron!
She yelled.

But before she could move, Harry stopped her.
Harry: No! Stop there!
He said.

She stopped in place. He then made his move, and looked directly into the white king's eyes.
Harry: Checkmate.
He said, as his sword fell on the ground.

They had won.

They immediately went to check on Ron.
Hermione sighed in relief.

Hermione: He's still alive. Just unconscious.
She said.

Harry: Hermione, take the brooms in that room, take Ron to the Hospital Wing and then go to the owlery and send a message to Dumbledore. We'll both go ahead.
He said.

Hermione looked at them.
Hermione: Harry, Y/N, Ron is right. Only you two can get that Stone.
She said, as she pulled them both into a tight hug.

Hermione: You're great wizards, you know?
She said.

Y/N: And you're no less.
He said, as Harry nodded.
She chuckled a little, letting go of them.

Hermione: Me? It's just a matter of Books and Logic, really. But there are things that matter more than books and logic, and even than magic itself. Now go.
She said.

They left Hermione, and later reached a very big room. It was way bigger than all the previous ones.

Some stairs headed down, to a large stone platform.

As soon as they stepped in, the entrance was blocked by Flames.

In the center of the room, on the middle of the platform, stood the Mirror of Erised in all its beauty.

In front of it, stood a person, a male. But it wasn't Voldemort. It wasn't Snape either.

Y/N just couldn't believe his eyes. They had just followed and accused the wrong person all the time.

Harry&Y/N: You!
