McGonagall finally reached Y/N and looked at him, as Malfoy just kept smiling triumphantly.

Y/N looked at her, and he was 100% sure she was way beyond furious. Seeing her that angry always frightened him.

McGonagall: Potter, follow me.
She said. He could feel the cold fury in her tone.

He didn't say a word, as he followed her. He glared at Malfoy. No words could possibly describe that feeling of hatred he was feeling at the moment towards Malfoy.

McGonagall led them to her office. After sitting behind her desk, she looked at Y/N.

McGonagall: Potter, you really disappointed me.
She said coldly. That hurt Y/N a lot.

McGonagall: I can't believe that YOU of all people were out of bed. I really expected better of you, but it seems I was wrong the whole time. Apparently, Gryffindor doesn't matter that much to you.
She said.

That hurt even more. How could she say something like that?
Y/N: Professor, I-
He was about to say, but she put a hand in front of his face, cutting him off.

McGonagall: You better don't say a word, Potter.
She said.

Y/N flinched. That brought back memories. Memories he had desperately tried to leave behind. Memories of his days in school before discovering he was a wizard.

*Flashback*

He had finally done it. He had finally kicked their butts once and for all.

He looked at the 4 boys that laid on the ground in front of him, all beaten up.

He had enough of being bullied and picked on. But just when he was about to walk away, he heard a voice call out his name.

Professor: Y/N Potter!
He turned around.

In front of him stood his homeroom teacher. She led him to her office, and then sat behind her desk.

She was very angry.
Professor: Why have you done that? Do you realize you can't go and beat up people who cannot defend themselves?! What did they even do to you?
She said.

Y/N flinched.
Y/N: People who cannot defend themselves? What did they do to me? Are you kidding me? Because if you are, this is a bad joke.
He said, his voice throbbing with anger.

Professor: Does this seem like a joke to you, Potter?
She said. That made Y/N even more angry.

Y/N: THEY'VE MADE MY LIFE AND MY BROTHER'S A LIVING HELL SINCE THE MOMENT WE STEPPED INTO THIS SCHOOL, AND NOW YOU'RE SCOLDING ME, BECAUSE I HAVE BEATEN THEM UP, WHEN THEY DID IT TO US EVERY DAY-
He yelled, but she put a hand in front of his face, cutting him off.

Professor: You better calm yourself down and don't say another word, young man, or I'll send you to the principal straight away!
She hissed, making Y/N shut up.

*End of Flashback*

McGonagall: Of course you will be punished. Both of you.
She said, bringing Y/N back to reality.

McGonagall: 50 points will be taken from Slytherin, and 150 points will be taken from Gryffindor.
She said, as Y/N's eyes widened.

Y/N: 150?
He repeated.

McGonagall: 150. You cannot understand how much this pains me, but nothing justifies why you were out of bed at midnight.
She said.

Something, inside Y/N's chest had broken. With that, their chance of beating Slytherin and win the house cup was gone forever. And it was all his fault.

Y/N: If just I hadn't suggested to visit Hagrid!
He cursed himself.

Malfoy: Sorry professor, maybe I head it wrong. Have you just said 'Both of you will be punished'?
He asked.

McGonagall: Oh no, Malfoy, you have heard perfectly. It doesn't matter how noble your intentions were. You were still out of bed too.
She said.

She then looked at them both.
McGonagall: And now go to bed.
She said, dismissing them.

They got out of the office without saying a word. Y/N felt empty. It was too much for him to bear.

He had lost Gryffindor 150 points. He had wasted all their efforts to get points and win. He felt horrible.

Malfoy, however, didn't seem to care that much about the fact that he had lost 50 points. Instead, he smirked at Y/N.

Malfoy: You sad, Potter? Are you gonna burst in tears now?
He teased.

It happened to fast that Malfoy didn't have the time to react.

Y/N roughly pinned him on the nearest wall. He looked at Malfoy, his eyes dangerously flickering. He had just crossed the line.

Y/N: You disgust me. You're so disgusting that looking at you makes me feel the urge to vomit. Did you think that I would just forget about this just because she took away 150 points from me? Well, you've angered the wrong person.
He spat venomously, still looking at Malfoy with nothing but pure disgust.

Y/N: Just mark my words, Malfoy. This doesn't end here. We haven't even started yet. You will regret this. It doesn't matter how I will do it. As much as I care, they can even expel me. But I swear to God that you will regret this.
He said coldly, letting go of a shivering Malfoy.

Malfoy looked at him, as he took his wand out.
Y/N: I knew this could come handy, in the future.
He thought, as he pointed it to Malfoy.

Y/N: Stupefy!
He shouted, sending Malfoy flying into a wall, and knocking him unconscious, before angrily storming off.
