At Nakota's house for dinner.

Everyone is talking amongst themselves. Nakota is ignoring Kierra, and she can tell, so she keeps her distance and gives her some space, but she feels they need to talk. Jonathan also notices and agrees they need to talk. He wants them to talk now, so putting himself in the middle, he excuses himself from his sister and dad's conversation, and he grabs Nakota and starts walking, and he grabs Kierra's hand along the way he pulls them both into the guest room with Tylon hot on their heels.

Nakota: Jo, what are you doing? I  was talking to Karen. (She says, confused and a bit irritated)

Johnathan: You two are clearly avoiding each other and need to talk.

Kierra: Joey, that's really sweet, but I don't think Kota wants to talk to me. Give her some space.

Johnathan: No, I know this is stupid, but you are both being childish now. Nakota, you are my sister, and I love you, but I just so happen to be in love with your best friend, who is carrying your niece or nephew. Still, you have to understand why she didn't tell you. If you don't, then have a conversation with her, and you will. I can't stand seeing you two at odds when it's clearly hurting you both, so talk. ( He crosses his arms and leans on the closet door.)

Nakota: News flash, sorry to burst your bubble. I'm not mad at anyone. I'm hurt, and I am not ready to get Into it, so excuse me. (When she tries to leave, Tylon stops her by standing at the door and putting his hands on her shoulders) What are you doing, Tylon? Why are you blocking the door?

Tylon: Yes, you two need to talk. We will stand behind the door, and you won't be let pass until you explain your feelings to Kierra and let her explain her feeling to you. Jo is right.

Nakota: Ty, No, Jo, I'm not a child. My brother and husband can't lock me in a room with my best friend in my own house.

Jonathan: Stop acting like a kid, and we wouldn't have to step in. Talk to your best friend. After all, you are the first person she told about the pregnancy, and only three others know if she's your best friend. Treat her like it. She needs you right now.

Both Jonathan and Tylon give their respective partners a kiss Tylon whispers for Nakota to talk while Jonathan whispers to Kierra he loves her and it'll be fine, then they both leave the room.

They sit in silence for a moment, neither woman knowing how to start an awkward conversation.

Nakota: So you and Jo?

Kierra: Yes, can you say you were surprised you just said three months ago if I weren't married, we'd be together by now.

Nakota: Yes, but the irony of that statement was I didn't know you were already together.

Kierra: No, we weren't. That's what I've been trying to tell you. We just had sex the day before John left. I found out I was pregnant two days before he returned, and we weren't together; I was going through a lot.

Nakota: Yea, but you didn't have to be alone. I thought you trusted me; I'm your best friend and was right here. I would've been there for you; I'll always be there for you.

Kierra: It wasn't about trust. I trust you with my life; I was confused about sharing my feelings when I'm not even sure how I  feel, and Johnathan had been gone for a while. I was starting to feel like the sex was just that sex.

Nakota: Jo would never do that. He adores you far too much.

Kierra: I know. (she smiles)
