007 : Spirits

Christine's pov

Something was very off there.

I felt something unusual inside, especially y/n's bedroom.

Something bad, a bad spirit.

Every second that I spent in that apartment, I felt like a was being watch by a demon.

Right after y/n shuts the door, I did the sign of the cross.

Please take the demons away from the innocent girls.

The heavy feeling starts to fade away after I checked on all the apartments.

It was nothing compared to the first one.

I rushed back down to my house. I can't understand what is happening in there.

Y/n's pov

The time hits 8 pm.

I cooked some food for me and Jasmine and she just came back home.

I placed two plates with the food in it on the dinning table we have.

She sat beside me as we ate, watching TV.

"by the way, Mrs. Christine gave us some cake earlier. Its in the fridge" I said and she nods.

"Something looks to be bothering you" Jasmine suddenly said before she took another bite.

"Cause Mrs. Christine was acting weird earlier when she came here inside. It's like she was scared of something" I said.

Jasmine's brows curved.

"I mean, there's nothing wrong in here. We don't feel anything, right?" she said.

"Yeah but her reaction was just very weird" I said but then change the topic after.

I pull the covers to me as I closed my eyes.

I'm hoping to get a chance to talk to billie.

I changed and changed positions but I couldn't get my sleep.

Something was bothering me but I don't have any idea what is it.

Not even billie.

I took my phone and started to scroll to different apps.

I spent 2 hours on my phone and still, I wasn't getting tired.

I don't think I will be sleeping tonight.

I got out of my bed and looked at the time.

10:28 pm

I got out of my room and went to the living room to watch some TV.

Ugh nothing here is good to watch.

I'm soo hungry. I walk back to my room, called an uber then I put on my jacket. I also took my bag to put my keys, money, and phone.

I waited for the uber until it arrived.

I made sure to lock our door.

After minutes of sitting in the car, we finally reached this convenient store.

I hop out of the ubre after I payed.

I enter the store and looked around for something to eat.

Chips, drinks, sweets.

This donuts looks so good!

I got two different types of donut, a bag of chips, and some coke.

I also took some of the egg sandwich they sell before I bump on someone.

I dropped my bag and they hand it to me.

Their hands looked so familiar...

"I'm so sorry" I looked up to the person.

Starting from how their hands look, to the way they sound and what they look like.

Billie?!?

"Um.. No worries" I said, still shocked.

The woman tilted her head a bit and asked

"is there something wrong?" she said with a smirk that she tries to hide.

She looks exactly like billie.

Except they have different clothes and eyes.

"N-no nothing at all" I fake smile and walked fast to the cashier.

"your total is $29 dollars ma'am. Would you lik-" the cashier said but I cut her off.

"keep the change" I said right after I gave the money.

I took all of my stuff and waited for another uber.

I sat on a bench near the store, when someone sat beside me.

It was the woman earlier.

"Alone?" she asked.

"Yes" I answer quick.

"Don't be shy, I'm not gonna bite" she winks at me.

I swear this got to be billie..

"what's your name?" she asked me.

"Y/n, how about you?" I reply.

"Umm I'm Riley" she answered hesitant. It's like she doesn't know what her name is and had to think of one.

"nice meeting you" I fake to cover up that I was getting suspicious.

We talked and talked until my uber arrived. I got inside the car but before I could close the door, bil- I mean Riley stopped me.

"Hey can I ride with you?" she asked.

"um yeah ok" I said unsure but I still let her.

She closed the door and sat beside me.

We were just an inch apart.

"Don't worry about the bills ma, I'll pay for me and you" she said as she stares hard.

"Oh no you don't have to do that" I said but she insisted until I gave in.

We reached my apartment and said goodbyes.

"wait! Let me get your number" she said before the driver can even drive away.

I hesitate but still gave her my number.

"give me yours too" I said and she did.

After that, I enter our apartment and sat down with my food.

I watched some vlogs while I eat. It just keeps me entertained.

After finishing, I got back to bed and finally I fell asleep..
