"WAKE UP JAKI!"

Ugh, another day of horrifying school. Most people don't want to go to school because they don't to learn... I don't want to go because I'm invisible. You probably think I'm over exaggerating, I'm not.

"IF I HAVE TO YELL ONE MORE TIME, IM TAKING YOUR PHONE AWAY!"

Why would I care if my mom took my phone away, I don't have anyone to text. And it's a stupid Nokia phone that looks like a calculator, so it's not like I can play apps. I want the phone to go rot in hell, for all I care.

"IM COMING! STOP YELLING!"

Geez, my mom can be an annoying uptight lady sometimes.

I got up and started slipping on some comfy clothes. Who cares about how I look? It's not like anyone would notice anyways!

Next I brushed my hair and teeth. Then I went downstairs and made me a small bowl of cereal. Why a small bowl? Well you know the saying I came up with, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will make me starve myself to death.

Then I got my stuff ready for school and left out the door.

"BYE MOM!"

I was walking to my bus stop, and that's when I saw him... He was the cutest boy I have ever seen. He was standing at my bus stop, though I've never noticed him. I approached him and he said the first word, to my surprise.

"Hey."

"Hey, what school do you go to?"

I thought in my head:

'Please make it be TreeBark JR high!'

"I'm starting new at TreeBark JR high school."

"That's where I go! And I'm sorry I didn't quite catch your name."

"I'm Josh. What's your name?"

"I'm Jaki."

"Hey, we should get together sometime, do you have a phone?"

"Well, kind of. I got it taken away, sort of. I never text anyone... Most people don't like me."

"Don't be like that, Jaki. Here's my number, call me sometime."

He scribbled down a number on a piece of paper just as the bus started to pull up. We got on the bus, on I was shocked when he sat down next to me! Did he like me? He was really cute, nice, and an obvious flirt.

He reached for my hand, and I didn't resist. Soon we were holding hands. Wow, I haven't been this social in years!

He leaned over to me and asked:

"Will you go out with me?"

I've only known the kid for what, 20 minutes? Now he's already asking me out!? It could boost my popularity... It might make him the least popular guy in the school! But I finally made up my mind.

"Sure!"

I know this story is probably CRAP!! I'm not a very cleaver person when it comes to writing. But it's my first story I've written in a year. There'sy more coming, I just like some suspense. Will Josh become popular? Will Jaki become popular? And no, this story does not pertain to me in any way, shape, or form.
