Fortuitous - 11

After getting ready, Arthit and Kong started walking toward the living room of Suthiluck Mansion. Coincidentally, both the Suthiluck and Rojnapat family were there.

Kong looked at Arthit, who shyly nodded. Kong took Arthit's hand and squeezed. Then without leaving the hold walked to the living room near their parents.

The entire family was very happy to see the old Kong back in front of them. David, Aye, Jack and Jane were happy that their plan worked. 

From the looks of both Kong and Arthit, they had guessed there is something more to the moment. They chose to be quiet and let the kids reveal themselves.

Type was the first one to jump and hug Arthit.

He whisper asked Arthit; "Are you guys together" All Arthit could do was nod.

Type gave a squeeze to Arthit and then hugged Kong. He went to sit next to Tharn so happily trying to hold his mouth from blurting the truth.

Kong hugged and wished everyone, then took Arthit's hand and went to stand next to David and Aye.

"Uncle and Aunty, I have been in love with Oon for a long period of time. But instead of confessing and approaching you all, I took a step back worrying about what will everyone's reaction. I did not want to lose what I and Oon had. So, I tried to console my heart saying he is not for you in this life. Then Thun happened, when he confessed to me, I agreed. I loved Thun, but both I and Thun were aware that we were not meant to be together.

Now, when destiny has given me another chance, I want to step up and claim my love. I promise I will take care of Oon more than anything in this world. Can you please accept me as your Son-in-law and bless us?"

Kong hesitantly looked up at the faces of his uncle and Aunty. There were no emotions, both were very serious. Arthit too got worried seeing such a reaction.

A moment later, everyone started laughing together. David and Jack jumped and hugged each other, while Aye and Jane went to hug Kong and Arthit. Tharn and Type too went and hugged both Kong and Arthit.

"See Jack, I told you these people can't keep their hands off each other." – teased David. Kong and Arthit were becoming red.

"Kids, you know we actually wanted to get you both married, but fate had another plan. Now that things are getting onto good notes, let us all celebrate." David continued

Rojnapat's and Suthiluck's were happy, beyond measurable. Jane and Aye started listing out things to do, engagement, dates, guests, etc.

While everyone was celebrating, there was one person in the same room who was getting displeased with the happiness. – Stud. He quickly walked toward Kong and Arthit, wished them happiness, and left to his room.

Kong and Arthit behaved normally like they are unaware of Stud's doings, and thanked him.

That day after lunch, David Rojnapat asked Kong to join him for a walk. Kong agreed, even though he was speculative.

"Don't worry Kong, I am not going to test you or trouble you. I just wanted to have a word with you.

I will not deny that we were not happy when Jack called to tell us about your marriage with Thun. We don't have anything against anyone. We love you like our own.

We four, that is your parents and me and Aye, we wanted you and Oon to get married from your young age. But we did not want to impose or arrange it for you. We wanted you kids only to fall in love and come and tell us. So, when you came in and talked about Thun, everyone was slightly upset. But we are parents, we will be happy as long as you; our kids are happy.
