She stopped thinking as the fire alarm went off and all she could hear at the moment was hydra agents yelling in Russian something like"WHY DIDNT YOU STOP HIM......" the pungent smell of smoke hit her as she grab what she could of her work and a fake passport hydra had for her. Then ran as far away as her legs could take her luckily no one had caught or noticed her well not yet. Most agents were looking for Alexei so she was free to go for now.

She had made her way to Belmont on foot which had taken her around 18 hours foot she had then decided to hitchhike had a better chance of working than walking so she tried and succeed in hitching a ride instead of an insane killer she luckily hitched a ride with a lovely woman who was visiting her family while she was on break from work. She got off the ride in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she managed to get a flight to New York.

The whole flight she was stuck beside a businessman who couldn't stop talking about his friend john or was it Jeffrey all she knew was that his last name was Epstein who supposedly was good when it came to the stock market Then there was a young mother maybe 19 or 20 with her 4-month-old.  The poor child had come down with some sickness you thought the poor child was on his first and last leg so she did her best to give the young woman some advice with her dying child.

She had a friend in New York who maybe knows someone who could help her set up a new identity may bee a house in the suburbs of it doesn't have to be big just a kitchen and bedroom is all she needs to survive.

She knocked at the door of her 'friends' apartment door and that door opened as she looked up at her old friend Logan Howlett he looked so different since the last time she has seen him almost like he was ageing like a normal person...
"Well well if it isn't little miss I don't age except she's all grown up"  she rolled her eyes as she replied n I need help.." his face just dropped "come in Kate we can talk more about this inside I don't think we should let my neighbours hear about this.." she could hear how he knew what happened immediately so he let her her
He lead her to the couch and sat down they stayed silent for a few minutes then he asked "were you in Ohio when the shield institute....." she simply nodded her head and responded with "I was.... and I need you to at least get me a place to stay where no one knows I'm there or maybe a new passport...please" he just stared at you for a while and said "ill have to make a few calls and see what I can do...."
