Taehyung must have found his way into my office with the help of one of the crew; as a short, tanned teenager patiently stood outside the door, her eyes quickly jolted down to our hands in awe of his affectionate display as we exited hand in hand.
"Thank you again; I found her." Taehyung beamed as he leaned to kiss my cheek, eliciting a blush from my cheeks as my own heart raced at the tenderness of his lips.
In my eyes, he was always the most beautiful-looking person in the room; his appearance went beyond whatever was classed as a normal standard of desirable beauty. There was this aura around Taehyung that effortlessly glistened as the sun sprinkled across clear water that I couldn't attribute to just one particular feature. The warm glow of the brown in his eyes or the boxy smile that may look innocent to most but would occasionally flash a yearning look that made every bone in my body liquidise.
I held my head high, knowing all eyes were viewing me with what could easily be described as envy. I would have been envious if Taehyung had been so openly parading around another woman through the offices and outside to the car park. Usually, I'd have been a bit more reserved to be respectful of single or soulmate-less people. However, I was drunk on the endless clear blue sky that reflected my thoughts of him which had spiralled in my head all day, and I was ready to fall deeper into the infinite sky and emerge from behind the clouds to bask in the warm, welcoming rays of Taehyung's adoration.
Taehyung usually would have made a sarcastic comment about opening his door. Instead, he raced around from my left-hand side to open the door for me. I flashed a puzzled expression at him, "Thank you?" I spoke, unsure of what I was seeing. I blinked several times to ensure that Taehyung had opened the door for me.
Taehyung raised his eyebrow and looked at me as if I was doing something unusual, "You're welcome? Are you getting in?" He flickered his eyes to the inside of his car. I wasted no more time and slid my body into the car, carefully tucking the skirt of my cream maxi dress into the car before Taehyung had the chance to shut the door.
The leather responded to Taehyung's weight as he hastily got into the driver's seat. "I just need to run an errand first but don't laugh." He informed me in a low tone that didn't give too much away. It made sense now; the eager display of opening the car door had been done with a motive. "What have you done?" I asked nervously.
"What? I said errand not--..."
"Spit it out. What have you done?" I asked again, cutting him off before Taehyung's pouty voice could break me from getting to the bottom of whatever errand Taehyung had in mind.
Taehyung had his finger on the button to start the car before he turned to me, "I need to stop by the dentist." I opened my mouth to question what he needed to visit the dentist for, but he opened his mouth widely and pointed to his left cheek. I narrowed my eyes to get a better look, and I could see one of the incisors was slightly chipped.
I couldn't help but wince, thinking about the pain he must have felt when the tooth fragment came off, "Oh, Taehyung, are you okay? What on earth were you eating to do that?" I worried and reached for his soft cheeks.
Taehyung had an appetite for well-done meats that tended to be on the chewier side or had this ungodly habit where he would rotate his lower to give the impression that he was chewing gum whenever he was on a shoot. All of these came to mind when thinking of the ideal candidate to damage his teeth; however, the answer was something beyond my wildest expectations.
"Ice cream..." Taehyung mumbled so quietly it had just sounded like Ice, which would have been understandable, but my ears caught the slight whisper of a second word attached to his answer. So I repeated his words to double-check what he'd said, "Did you say Ice cream?" I scoffed, trying to hold back a snort of laughter.
