Author's Note
Hi! I just wanted to say a few things before you start reading this chapter.
I'm sure that some of you might notice that this is basically the anime storyline and words. Before making the "Interview with a Prince'' Chapters, I decided to use the anime's story and lines since they are a bit better than the manga (in my opinion).
So, I have decided that the next few chapters will follow the anime story.
I'll tell people when I have changed back to the manga storyline because that is what I mainly will write from since I am more familiar with it and when I might change some stuff again.
I will also continue to add small parts of the anime into the story that are not part of the manga to make it more fun and intriguing.
Sorry for taking your time with this... back to the story!
3rd person's POV
Both Heine and Y/n were running in the palace courtyard since that was the first thing they thought of. Time was the one thing that they needed to find Prince Kai, however, that was not in their favour at the moment. Both of them were looking left and right, trying to find any sign of the prince.
'We must hurry,' Heine thought as he ran alongside Y/n. 'Punctuality is the most important step in building trust.'
As both of them were still looking around, the two stopped when a certain adorable fluffy beast was spotted in front of them.
'Oh my, Could this be the palace dog?'
As soon as Heine thought that, the dog suddenly came running towards them and snatched Heine's book out of his hands. The dog then turned in the direction of where it came from and started running away.
Both Heine and Y/n were surprised by this and instead of finding Prince Kai, they started running to retrieve it.
"Please return that back at once you bad dog⎯"
As soon as he was about to finish his sentence, he could see something, or rather, someone, laying on the ground. They both stood still to who it was.
"Oh, dear..." Y/n said, with a slight tremble in her voice.
"Oh my, a dead body in the yard," Heine said, but soon after, realized something.
The body was still slightly moving, they were breathing lightly, and it looked like there were no opening wounds. Once they also saw their face, the two tutors confirmed who it was.
'It is Prince Kai, thank goodness he's only asleep,' Y/n thought to herself.
The pair both then sat down and the dog also gave back the file to Heine.
