"how are you guys doing with parenting?" Claudia asks as we sit around their backyard.
"it's been okay, I can get more sleep now" billie shrugs as I nod while looking at her, "akita has been taking over more which I appreciate, in the beginning I just had sort of a fear and preferred to do it all alone, which is ridiculous" she adds.
I chuckle moving her hair out of her face and tuck it behind her ear, "I get it though, her motherly instincts are already kicking in" I joke making her hit my hand away from her face.
Claudia chuckles along with finneas, "it's not a bad thing, I love that. you're a bomb kick ass mom billie" I tell her as I kiss her forehead, she smiles hiding her face with her hair.
"I am trying, I just hope I keep doing it right down the line" she says making me smile as I pull her head into my chest.
"you will and just know there will be mistakes we will both make as we go and that's okay, it's the process of parenting but I promise you everything will be fine" I tell her as I hug her tightly.
"where's my baby?" she chuckles wiping her small tears, she pecks my lips before getting up to look for her mom, I smile watching her walk away.
