Elias
"I don't care, if you can't seem to do your job as a mother we can happily have this conversation in court." I whispered into the phone.
"Elias don't give me that bullshit. You know I am very good with Alaiya." Amaya raised her voice over the phone making my anger rise.
"Well stop calling me about unnecessary shit. It makes it look like you can't handle yourself." "UNNECESSARY? Elias I called you to tell you that the 2nd car you had gotten me had a flat." She screamed.
"Amaya lower your fucking tone and remember who the hell your talking to. And key word on 'second', I do more than my part to provide for not only her but your leeching ass. All I need from you is to take care of my baby and don't be a hoe of a mother and try take my visitation." I growled into the phone.
The line got silent before I heard her sigh.
"So you don't need me for anything anymore huh?" She sounded hurt.
"No. I don't need anything from you pertaining to me and if it wasn't for Amaya I would have dropped your ass a long time ago. Now I have a office party to get back to." "Eli-" I cut her off hanging up in her face.
I collected my thoughts before slipping my phone into my pocket and walking out the empty hall.
I made it to the main ballroom to see everyone mingling and the waiters walking around with trays. The cooks were setting the tables on the side and the orchestras was on stage playing Christmas music.
"Hi Elias. Can we talk?" Shauna came over to me. "Shauna what are you doing here?" I asked sternly trying not to cause a seen.
"I-" "what part of your fired don't you get?" "Elias?" "Mr. Green." I corrected putting up my hand and snapping my fingers.
The security guards came over grabbing her shoulders as she looked at me with pain in her brown eyes. I watched as they quietly carried her out making sure not to disturb anyone else.
"Chardonnay sir?" A male waiter came by with a tray of flutes. "Thank you." I gently smiled grabbing a glass.
I sipped my drink looking around at the party. My eyes landed on the door seeing a worker helping someone in.
Upon further examination I saw Naomi walk in. Her legs glistening through the little slip in her dress. A diamond pendant sparkling right in between her breast. Her hair flowed perfectly over her shoulder as she looked around fiddling with her fingers. Her brown eyes danced in the lights as she examined the party.
I made my way over to her gaining her attention.
"Hey Naomi so glad you could make it." I smiled watching her eyes shine up at me.
"Hi thank you so much for having me." She returned the smile. "This is so nice Mr.Green." She looked back to the room.
"Come let me introduce you." I held out my arm for her to link setting my glass on a table near by. She hesitated before giving in. As we walked she clung tight to me not knowing anyone else.
"Aw Elias! Great party as per usual." Mr. Remolds shook my free hand firmly. "And who is this beauty?" My business partner's eyes flickered over to Naomi.
"This is my new personal assistant, Naomi Sanders." I smiled over at her.
"Wonderful to make your acquaintance." He grabbed her hand taking a dramatic bow before getting up.
"Frank!" Mrs. Remolds joined us. "I've been looking for you everywhere." She cried out grabbing his hand. "Hi Elias." She smiled as her eyes met mines.
"Mrs. Remold." I smirked keeping my eyes on hers as I kissed her hand. She blushed before the song changed grabbing Franks attention.
"Come on hunny I like this one let's dance." Frank pulled her away as her eyes never left mines.
"Shall we?" I held out my hand to Naomi. She smiled grabbing my hand. We found a spot on the floor as she wrapped her arms around my neck and I rested mines on her hips.
"So you and Mrs. Remolds?" She smirked trying not to laugh. "Awl girl she ain't nobody?" I chuckled throwing back my head.
"Why you jealous?" I dipped my head all in her face?
"Nah?" She scrunched up her nose laughing. I licked my lips seeing her smile making her blush looking down at her feet.
"So I have to ask. Does a fine lady like your self happen to be in a relationship?" I asked feeling my eyebrow flicker.
"Yep 3 years strong." She sighed seeming unhappy. I wanted to question further but felt it was best to stay quiet and nod.
I felt my phone ringing in my pocket. "I'm sorry one moment." I gave an awkward smile stepping a few feet away.
I answered to hear sniffling through the line. " hello?" "Dada?" My heart melted hearing my baby. "Hey NaNa Wassup princess?" I smiled unintentionally.
She rambled a bunch of non sense before Amaya grabbed the phone. "Can you come get her tomorrow?" she said annoyed. I rolled my eyes hearing her voice.
"But it's your weekend." I rubbed my temple.
"Yea but Tyr- uh Tasha wanna take me out tomorrow." She corrected herself.
"Man whatever have her ready by 10am tomorrow.
"Thanks Elias." I hung up going back to the party. I looked over to see Naomi mingling with the other guests when all of a sudden I felt a presence behind me.
"Hey Mr. Green." A woman said making me deter my eyes from Naomi and over to her.
I looked over to see Trina. Trina has been an employee for me for a little over a year. She was hella short and a beautiful dark skin with beautiful brown eyes and naturally long thick hair.
She stood infront of me in a red blinged out dress with a high split up the side and her cleavage so far out there wasn't much left to imagine.
I usually try all of of my female employees but for some reason I hadn't gotten around to Trina. Truth be told every since seeing Naomi I really didn't want to.
"Can I talk with you somewhere more private?" She reached for my hand.
I looked between her and Naomi to make sure she was alright before giving in and leaving with Trina.
