There are a few knights that accompany me to the port, we traveled for two days straight and when we arrive we are welcomed by Ryker. The situation here was not worse than I expected.

"I greet the Lady of Astley. I receive a letter from the palace that you will arrive four days ago. What took you long?"

"I go to the church first and see Leticia."

"I see."

"Can you tell me what is the current situation?"

"Yes. As you can see the battleships were still at that distance and we've been monitoring them for a week but they still haven't made a move. They've been like that since last week."

He guided me to the barracks and there I saw his brothers and some knights that were resting. The knights there greet me and I nod to them. When I look at Ryker he pointed the battleships that were not moving.

"As you can see we have no battleships at all, there is a huge difference and we notice that some of them were sorcerers."

This is one of our biggest problems, there are only a few sorcerers in Dormer, and even though Wren is just a small kingdom they have a huge number of a sorcerer on their side. We must outwit them so I can head towards the borders.

"Did you already come up with a plan?" I asked him and he nods his head.

"We plan to send some experience knights to dive in the sea, and when they already reach near the battleships they will send a signal and by that, we will attack. And when everything was already busy the knights we sent will infiltrate the ships and put bombs."

"And what is the chance that your plan will execute smoothly? This was a risky plan."

"Yes, we know that there is a chance that the knights might stumble into some enemies, they might also die there but we need to do something. Surely that the enemies were also planning to move when they saw a good chance. So, we need to move first, it's now or never." I look at Damien, based on his voice he is sure hostile towards me. There is already a war going on right now but he still hasn't forgotten his hatred toward our families.

Why do you two have the same name and personality? Damien Eyron and Damien Alaric Haa, I want to hit both of them.

"When are you planning to send the knights?"

"I already sent them we are just waiting for their signal." The heck. I look at him unbelievably and sat down. I notice some knights looking at me and when I look at them they instantly avoid my stares.

"You said that you went to the capital first."

"Yes."

"And the sword beside you, it's His Highness's sword, right? Did you meet him?" he just continues to stare at the sword and when I opened my mouth he looks at me.

"No, Leticia gave this to me. She told me that the Crown Prince gave this sword to her before he lost his consciousness."

"Did the Saintess tell you what is the condition of the Crown Prince?" I look at him and stare for a moment. He is not the type of person to be concerned about the condition of others, but is he worried about the Imperial Highness?

"The Crown Prince was in critical condition and the sorcerers can only do is to stop the black magic from spreading to his body."

"I see." He take a look at the sword for a second and left the barracks without saying anything to me. When Ryker finally left, Matteo approach me and told me to rest, he pointed the bed and give me a blanket.
