ALORA EMBRY

"My Lady."

I take it back I'm wrong. I want to have a peaceful and alone time here.

"Yes? Oh, it's Sir Frederick." Like last time he was nervous in front of me, why is he like that?

"I'm glad you remembered my name."

"Please be seated." I slightly nod and ask him to sit in front of me.

"Thank you."

"So?" then his ears started to redden.

"Ah, I was finding this book then I saw you." I know it was a lie.

"That was a good book." I point to the book he was holding and he nod.

"So, My Lady do you have plans tomorrow afternoon?"

"Why?" He claps his hands and his face is now red then he avoided my gaze.

"I will attend a banquet... and I was wondering if you could be my partner, Lady Alora?"

"I'm afraid that I will decline Sir Frederick's invitation, I want to accompany you but I have classes in the afternoon."

"Oh, okay." He was down all of a sudden now that I decline his invitation. I sighed and softly tap the table; he look at me and I smile at him.

"Don't be sad. Let's just have some tea some time, my treat."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"I'm looking forward to it. Then I'll go now thank you for your time, Lady Alora."

"Bye." he waved his hand and I watch Sir Frederick's back when he finally left the library I turn my head and I saw the Crown Prince staring at me. I curtly bow my head and go back to reading.

"Can I sit here?" I look at the Crown Prince and nod. I stand up so I can greet him but he stops me. "It's okay continue reading and don't mind me."

"Ah yes." I take notes and back the books on the shelf, when I was already done, I arrange the books that I'm going to borrow. I bowed to the Crown Prince.

"Ah-" I didn't look behind me and continued walking. Days pass so fast but it was so peaceful.

"Yes, there are no classes tomorrow I'm gonna go home." Lucky you, your manor was located in the capital.

"I'm going to sleep now please do not disturb me."

"Yes, Farren. What about you Alora? What's your plan for tomorrow?"

"I'm just staying here; I haven't received a letter that they want me to go home, plus the trip was long and we only have a week."

We've been studying here for three months now and the academy will give us a week's vacation. There is a transport scroll and its cost was more than the price of a manor in the capital.

"But will you be okay here? It's lonely and almost all of the students will go home."

"I will be fine." we ate dinner together with Hayes and with Lady Cora who looks like she's going to kill me any moment. She was looking at me sharply but I continue to ignore it.

But make a wrong move, I will safely send you to your next life...

"This is my first time eating here, Sir Hayes they were right it's crowded and noisy. Why don't you join me in my room next time?"

"If you are not comfortable you can now go back to your room, no one forces you to be here My Lady." I was shocked at how cold his voice was I look at Cora and her face was red. She look around and immediately hid her face in her fan.

"No, I-I'm fine. So, Lady Elora Ebury, right?"

"It's Alora Embry." Hayes corrects Cora and her eyes widened, well, I also didn't expect that one.

"Pardon me, Lady Alora Embry. You're going home tomorrow?"

"No, I'll stay here."

"You're not going home? Then why not come with us? We are planning to visit some famous dessert shops; I want to try the famous blueberry cake. And the second thing is there will be a small banquet in the Capells."

"I politely decline, I'm sorry." I'm not going to the house of Capell without a damn plan.

"How bad," Hayes said he'll escort us and to our surprise, there is an ogre near the gates. Yes, the academy is near to the forest but how does the ogre go here? It started to groan and the students panicked. I can't believe that this ogre easily gets in.

The bell ring so loud and they made the students go back to the dormitory.

"Go back inside let us handle this."

"Can I borrow your sword?" he tilted his head but before he can hand me the sword, I already snatch it. Let's see how strong you are.

"My Lady!"

"Alora come back here, do you wish to die?"

"Lady Alora!"
