I followed him to the lake and it was not that far from the base. The bright moon was my light and Damien was guarding not too far because we can still hold a conversation without shouting.

"Did you have a hard time sleeping at the barracks in the seaport?"

"It was bearable," I said in a short reply.

"What about your food and the water you use for washing your body?"

"The food was tasty and I eat what they cook, of course, we ate different kinds of cook in fish for those two months. And the water, its cold but it was not the right time to complain. It was hard but we survive."

"That's good to hear. You doing well while we are not there."

"Of course. What about you? What food have you all eaten in the past months?" I asked him and he went silent after that, when I was about to turn around, he suddenly speaks.

"Meat, some of us need to hunt here and the palace was also sending foods, healer, swords, things that we needed it was provided by His Majesty."

"What about Levan?"

"They were doing great the crown prince was good at leading the army."

"Another great news, I see." He went silent again and since I don't have any questions to ask to him, I take a night swim and when I was satisfied, I get my things and take my dress.

"I'm already done."

"Let's head now." I sighed when he walked first and I watch the large gap in our distance.

"Thank you..." after I said that I went to the barracks where I am going to sleep, I was with the other ladies and they were already sleeping. When I lay down on my bed, I fell asleep that fast and even had a nice dream. That I was back on our manor again.

"A... Alora..."

"Hmm?" when I opened my eyes, I saw my brother standing beside my bed. I'm the only one sleeping inside the tent so I immediately stand up. "I'm sorry, I didn't notice that I was sleeping that long. That was careless of me."

"It's fine, we know you are tired. Let's go eat now they're already done cooking."

"Okay." I ready myself first before going outside, and the smell of soup was the first thing I notice. It smells tasty, I want to eat it right now.

"Good morning."

"Ah, yes. Good morning." I lost my focus because of the food that I didn't notice him. On my way to my brother, I was greeted by knights who have nice smiles on their faces as they greet me. Maybe it was peaceful last night, when I was already beside him, he pass the plate to me.

"If you happen to finish all of that and you still want you can ask for another plate from Luke." The knights there look at me and I made a small smile to my brother.

"This is fine." As I've said back then I do not want a special treatment.

"If you say so, just don't complain when your stomach grumbles while we are in the middle of the meeting later."

"I will go to the meeting also?"

"Why you don't want to?"

"No! that is not what I mean, of course, I want to hear our plan."

"Then you better eat faster." I nod and sat beside him they were being lively again as we eat breakfast.

"Brother, what happened to the manor? Brother and the twins? What about sister did she deliver the baby safely?"

"I thought you'll never ask about that."

"The manor was safe it was well protected by our knights and of course Kio. I was informed that they released your pets and were protecting Ellen and the baby. The baby's name was Kaizen, they were all safe."

"Kaizen... I want to see him."

"They want to send thanks to you the moment Kio went back to the manor maybe the baby felt his presence that is why it already want to go out. Ellen was in pain for hours."

"That's good to hear, Ahm what about mother and father?"

"They were in the palace protecting the Imperial family, they were with the other heads of the duchy."

"I see." Then brother suddenly stands up and looks at me.

"There is still time, this is the last time I am going to say this. Go back now to the manor to be with Kio and our brothers. This is not an appropriate place for you." I look up at him and shake my head.

"My answer still hasn't changed."

"I now respect your decision."

"Thank you."

When I look at Damien that was listening to our conversation, he shake his head in disappointment and followed my brother. In the end, he was still against of my decision.

I am so stubborn, right? I'm sorry... I don't want to hurt you more that is why I made that decision hope you will understand.

When I head inside the tent where the meeting was going to hold everyone was already in their seats, we are fifteen people inside. I knew a few faces because I happen to see them at the academy the rest was not. I don't know their names nor if they wield magic or sword.

"There is still no movement from the enemy, it must be because of the fatal blow that Lady Alora and others do in the seaport," Hayes said and I saw a few of them nod. "And in the past months their army had lessened for they are attacking the seaport, the borders, and Levan and since our forces were also stronger, we can push them back."

"And our major problem is the mages of Wren." A man that I didn't know his name suddenly said that.

"And don't forget the green-eyed mage that curses the Crown Prince, we must kill him at all cost."

"That is our mission."

"Yeah, we know." Leo Eyron sighed. "The prince's life was important and we didn't forget that. But for now, let's focus on the problem in front of us."

"The mage first, he must be hiding in the army there. Brite and Alvin were right, Lord Leo, our top priority was the Crown Prince so we must find him instead of just sitting here."

"We will not make rash decisions here we need every help we can and if happen that they find out that you five were knights from Dormer, you won't make it alive. So, your plan last night was declined. Hope you understand it, Sir Charles." The icy voice of Leo didn't even make the blond guy shiver in fear. He continue to stare at him and if Hayes didn't interrupt it, they might fight there.

It was a nice sight, hehe.

"Now, calm down. We are allies here and not enemies, The Crown Prince and the army in front of us were both important."

"Tell that to him, Sir Hayes."

"Excuse me, My Lords."

"What is it?"

"We saw another batch of an army approaching." The knight reported it and we are all alarmed.

"Shit."
