When everything is already done we are told that we should be in the ballroom now because the banquet is already starting. My brothers go first, I was looking in the mirror and I sighed as I put the medals in my dress.

The red dress that I'm wearing was showing my collarbones and shoulders, I wish I will not catch a cold later. My hair was also tied beautifully and had flower clips, why do I look like a fairy or something?

I stand up and touch my hand when I realized something. I laughed in the end.

"You are such an idiot, Alora." I go straight to the banquet hall without an escort and when the knight saw me, he announce my arrival.

"Commander Alora Astley has already arrived!" I can hear them talking about me but I ignore it and continue walking and greet the Imperial Family. When we are already complete the ones that received gold medals first lined up beside the Imperial family. The emperor wants a portrait of us wearing our best dress and medals.

"Cheers!"

"And I would also like to announce the engagement of my son The Crown Prince and our Saintess here, Saintess Leticia Aljerr. This is such a joyous day for us so everyone please enjoy the party. We are celebrating our victory and their engagement!"

"Another cheer for the engagement of our Crown Prince and the Saintess. Long Live!"

"Cheers!"

"Congratulations Your Highness, Your Holiness!" I watch the nobles greet the Crown Prince and Leticia.

"Blessing keeps on showering to us!"

"You look especially beautiful tonight, My Lady." I look at Ryker who suddenly showed up. We both bow our heads.

"I greet Lord Ryker. Thank you for the compliment."

"This was all of a sudden right? It was their engagement that I'm talking about."

"Is this the reason why you approach me?"

"Kind of." I nod and slightly laugh.

"You find this amusing, don't you?"

"Please don't get mad."

"I already expected their engagement, so I was not that surprised."

"The first dance will be at the Crown Prince and the Saintess." I watch how the Crown Prince escorts Leticia to the dancefloor. I just notice that they were both wearing matching clothes.

"Such a shame he didn't confess first if he just had a chance before they announce their engagement."

"Maybe you got the wrong information and he doesn't have that 'special feelings for me. Look at his face tonight, you'll see in his eyes he was happy."

"Do you want a bet? The night will not end without Lord Hayes and the Crown Prince confessing their love to you."

"I don't have a good feeling about this one, tell me do you see the future?"

"Then I will not give this letter to you." I frown and look at the letter that was in his hands, and my mouth dropped when I saw the seal of Alaric's. That must be a letter from Damien.

"Since when did you get that letter?"

"He gave this to me before he left, I don't know why but yeah this letter was with me for a two weeks or so."
