"And with the Sword of Ivarice,Exodus smote the Dark Lord."
"It looks like you're having a fun time reading Exodus' history there" Key teasingly greeted Mu.
Mu reacted with a pout and replied "Reading our history is not a fun task, Key, I am simply looking for anything that could help us figure out the enemy's motives" she then placed the scroll on the table and browsed for more books and scrolls.
The Library of Lights. A historical sanctuary of memories, where Archivists collect all the records of events that occurred across the Monster world and/or Human world that involves monster activities for thousands and thousands of years. This majestic hall is made out of light, making the whole place illuminate; walls, ceiling, floor, you name it, it glows. The books are arranged from day one up to the most recent events, and there are no shelves for all the books are floating.
Mu, the Guardian and current leader of the Sky Palace, is facing a great ordeal; a terrorist group named 'Mergers' suddenly appeared several months ago, killing hundreds of innocent lives. Reports say they initiated series of attacks across the northern regions of Netherplains, leaving cities totally destroyed, raiding them in search of "Crystal Pillars".
"Mu, my dear, stop worrying so much; if you don't, you'll look like a Levherian Smudge Breather...just imagine yourself, looking like a pile of flabby flesh" Key once again teased Mu and laughed, this made Mu mad, and bursts "Look, Mr. Griffoult, if this matter does not scare you, well you can go out of this library and find someone else to bother."
For a moment Key was silent, he stood still while the Angel is looking for books, Mu immediately noticed it "Hey, I'm sorry, its just that, I can't figure out why these terrorists do this? What are their intentions? Who are they working for, after they have introduced their group, they just started to-" Key hushed Mu, placing his fingers in her lips, and stared in to her eyes.
"If I tell you I have a plan, will you trust me?" Key whispered, while he touched Mu's cheeks, "What now, Key? This better be good." Mu replied, shoving Key's hand away.
Key walked across the room, facing all the books and started to look for something, Mu got annoyed and bursts "Come on, Key, this is no time to joke around" Key ignored her, still busy looking for something.
"Okay. Key, I know you are my adviser and all, but again, this is not a laughing matter, if this is one of your jokes, please stop it now."
"Here! read this, I know this is a very familiar tale" Key found the book he was looking for, and immediately hand it over to Mu. She dusted off the book and was surprised of what the book is about.
"ARE YOU INSANE?THIS IS A DEFINITE NO!" she furiously replied, her voice echoed across the room, she grasps the big tightly; almost tearing it apart.
"Insane? Or should I say Genius" Key then gestured a bow and smirked as he pats Mu's head, once again she shove away Key's hand "Unacceptable! I won't allow it, I won't risk thousands just to stop the Mergers...This is not the right time!" she still refused to back down, rejecting Keys proposal.
A knight suddenly appeared, gasping for breath, "Good day, Sir Knight, you bring important news, I assume." Key looking down the knight with his Sapphire eye. "Your Majesty, I am very sorry to say" the knight finally managed his breathing " but the Congregation failed."
Mu was shocked, she dropped the book and was speechless for a moment. "Where is Sora? Tell me Sora is okay..." she then started to cry. Key ordered the knight to leave them for a moment, and as the knight walks out the door, Key immediately comforted Mu. "I'm sorry for what happened to her." Key extends his condolences, but Mu grabbed his coat, look at Key's eye with anger "I Accept. Bring him here for a quick meeting."
Key nodded and made a smirk.
