Ikezubo appeared as the fog his transformation he made started to fade away. His Panoplía granted him the powers of the Sea Dragon. Doer attacked the Aquorion relentlessly. Ikezubo dodged every attack effortlessly. The samurai the pops his katana directly to the Sith's chin.
As the assassin backs away, the slayer jumps in and delivered a strong bash. Ikezubo, in the other hand, managed to block it without breaking a sweat. The Aquorion then flips the golem's attack, making Reech step back. As Reech prepares himself for another round, Ikezubo stood calmly. The two started to exchange slashes; each blows' impact was felt across the room. Doer was able to gain his focus and jumped in. It was a two-against-one match, but the Panoplía granted Ikezubo greater powers, leaving the assassin and slayer look like paper against a scissor.
The Aquorion laughed. The sight of Netherplain's greatest bowing down on him simply pleases him. Unexpectedly, as the samurai yelled "WHO'S THE WEAKLING NOW, MASTER?" Reech saw an opening. The golem picked up his haedonggum and slashed the Aquorion's leg off. Ikezubo wasn't able to liquefy since he was so focused on talking to his deceased master. Doer also took the opportunity and grabbed Ikezubo by the hair before he hit the floor. The Unicus then delivered a knee to Ikezubo's face a couple of times before throwing him away.
As the Aquorion started to heal his legs, Doer and Reech retreated. Ikezubo snapped and went on an amuck, slashing and destroying everything in the room. As the duo was running, Reech came up with a plan "He mentioned that we can defeat him and his liquefied form has its flaw, right?" Doer nods and replied "Affirmative. We can only achieve that by immobilizing and making his body solid." Reech halted and puts his sword back to its sheathe. "I guess I know now how we can finish this one off...but this might be too risky."
Mitsu is totally losing his own fight. The Black Knight Tortoise is on a rampage and continuously beating the Dark Knight. Mitsu's armor was torn like thin cloth. Although overpowered, the cursed one still tries to fight back. He was trying to use the same tactic he used before when they first met. The Dark Knight was slamming his war hammer against the Torturkian but this time this method is not working.
The Dark Knight paused for moment. He remembered that his opponent is Earth-elemental. He realized that the Torturkian's armor is now covered by soil. Of course he cannot make the armor vibrate because it is not made of metal anymore. He then summons a new sword; the Hellraiser. He flailed the flame sword before initiating a barrage of slashes. The attack was effective, bringing the juggernaut to its knees. The Dark Knight then said to his enemy "Looks like I got you all figured out"
Guk was still wants to stand up, while clutching onto air, trying to grab the Dark Knight's neck. The Torturkian then pierces the ground with his fist, creating rock spikes, trying to impale his rival again. Mitsu leaped and slashed the spikes in mid-air. The Dark Knight boasted "You can't get me with that this time around, Torturkian." He then summoned three spears that he immediately threw at the Black Knight. The spears pierced down the Torturkian's limbs, disabling him completely. Guk was screaming in pain. For sure, Guk's Earth armor was not strong enough to penetrate the Dark Knight's rage.
"Give me back MY lance..." Guk demands to Mitsu, still trying to take himself off from the demise he is in. Mitsu turned his back from the Black Knight and walked away, but Guk was still shouting at him "I'LL GET OFF OF THIS AND SOON GET MY HANDS ON THAT LANCE!" Mitsu got pissed off. The Royal Lance materialized out of thin air, he yelled at Guk "HERE'S YOU LANCE, DUMBASS!" He then threw the lance at Guk, which pierced through the Tortukian's chest plate, instantly killing the monster. Mitsu approached Guk's body and pulled the lance off "Stay dead." He said before leaving the Torturkian behind.
Back at the merger's hideout. Orange was hiding in the debris. The whole room was a mess; walls and pillars crushed, rubble and debris were all over the place. The werewolf was calculating his next move. As he have observed, Laraffa's flamberge has the ability to ignite anything it touches, making it explode. The Phoenixid proved to be superior in terms of power. The Panoplía also made it really hard for Orange, the armor granted Laraffa the abilty of flight.
Orange was breathing heavily. He grasped his staff tightly. He ran across the room and hid himself behind a ruined pillar. Laraffa's voice echoed "GOTCHA!" The pillar where Orange was hiding suddenly exploded, throwing the werewolf off. Orange made a bad landing and rolled several times before hitting his side on a big rock. The hit was excruciating. Orange curled up in pain, unable to regain his strength immediately. Laraffa laughed hysterically. Still, he was invincible. Orange grabbed his staff and used it to help him stand up. Like a rapid bullet, Laraffa attacked Orange using the armor's wings; which are made up of sword-like blades. Orange was cut. The mercenary tried to attack but Laraffa's ability to fly made it difficult for him to make a hit. The merger was not contented and flew around Orange several times, connecting his every attacks, leaving the werewolf filled with cuts and wounds. Orange fell down to his knees, weak and exhausted.
Laraffa decided to land. As his feet touches the ground, he laughed like there's no tomorrow. For him, he already won. Orange still tried to stand up, shaking as he pull himself up. The Phoenixid was not pleased of what he is seeing. He points his sword at Orange and said "You never know when to quit, do you?" Orange smiled and replied "No."
The werewolf howled, echoing across the whole room. For a second there, the whole place was shaking. Laraffa was aghast. As soon as he regains his balance, he hovered and prepared for another strike. The werewolf then redirected his howl to the ceiling, directly hitting the sound waves to the crumbling part. Surely, the ceiling gave in, falling directly at Laraffa. The Phoenixid was not able to react and immediately got crushed by the falling debris. Orange dusted himself off and was about to leave when a multitude of merger henchmen cornered him. The mercenary whimpered "Could this day get any better?" and readied himself for battle.
Meanwhile. Reech stood in the middle of the hallway. He was waiting for Ikezubo. After a couple of minutes, the samurai appeared, furious. As the golem unsheathes his sword, Ikezubo charged in full force. The slayer and the samurai's blades met. They exchanged massive blows, both giving everything they've got. Reech shouts "DOER! GO!" Doer then appears from behind and started spinning. As Ikezubo turned his attention, Reech removes his sunglass, and as soon as Ikezubo looked back at him, the golem stared directly to the Aquorion's eyes, petrifying the merger. Doer's Death Cyclone connects, destroying the evil Aquorion once and for all.
Reech approached Doer. The two shake hands, congratulating each other for a job well done. Just like their ally, several merger henchmen appeared. But even before the two can react, several of Sky Palace's Angelic paladins arrived, storming the whole area, defeating the henchmen easily. Doer approached one of them and asked "What are you doing here?" The paladin replied "The Congregation is here to assist you, Lord Sith."
The Merger's headquarters was attacked by a full-scale army of angels, immediately vanquishing the weakened mergers. Somewhere in the Palace, Niv was running towards the throne room. As the Oni reached the throne room, he was surprised to see that Mu and Ramiro already killed Gates. The Forces of Light succeeded in extinguishing the fires of evil.
