Gates sat motionless on his throne, as if his soul left his body and wandered off in the Astral plains. The whole room was silent and the moonlight passing through the cracks on the ceiling were reflecting on his golden armor . The silence was broken by the creaking of the door, one of his adviser went inside, the nervous monster knelt down and bowed to his master "I-It is I, Laraffa, My lord. I am here to inform you that Aki got away...again..." the motionless tyrant did no reply. Laraffa stood up as Gates seem uninterested to his report. The Merger got curious and was about to approach the armor when suddenly it's eyes and the ruby on its chest started to glow; just like a machine being activated. "I heard you, Phoenixid. Let her be... She is useful that way."
Aki was running across the woods, trying to escape the clutches of his captor. She was miles away from Gates' hideout, but still felt the tyrant's evil presence. She sensed that someone was following her and immediately halted, and hid herself behind a tree. She observed for minute, carefully examining her environment, trying to track her pursuer "I swear someone's following me" she whispered and resumed her escape. From a distant, a liquified Ikezubo appeared.
Back at Dao Lung City, Doer was still studying the Aquorion scale "Master Sith, have our allies made any updates?" Kaito asked his superior "No, not yet." The Sith replied with a calm tone. The Unicus then stood by the ledge of the rooftop they are on. Doer and Kaito jumped off the 8 story building and landed on their feet with ease. Doer pulled out his phone and dialed, Kaito got curious and asked "Who are you calling, My lord?" The Sith replied "A conference call. Trying to contact them all."
Niv picked up the phone "Hey! Yeah, I'm doing good here and no signs of them yet...no worries, if there's anything here, I'll keep you updated...Ow, yeah I've found the girl I was looking for...ow, wait...sorry...talk to you later...I'll explain everything in a bit...Bye." Sora looked at Niv and asked "Uhm, who was that?" the girl's eyes glittered, her pale skin shines as the moonlight shine on her, Niv gulped and answered with a nervous voice "Well, that's Doer, one of our allies." Sora immediately noticed Niv being shaky, she then stopped and looked at the Oni's face "Are you alright?" Niv turned red as he stared at Sora's face. Niv always have this weakness with cute girls, and sometimes feel uneasy around them. "Haha, you look funny, Niv-kun, you're like a tomato!" Sora teased Niv while laughing out loud, Niv is obviously blushing. The Oni pouted and said "It's not funny, you know...we better get going..."
The two were about to leave but Sora stopped as she felt a familiar aura. Niv noticed and his mood changed from goofy to combat mode "You felt it too?" He asked the girl. Sora clenched her fist as she anxiously survey the whole place "Hai...This is Shilu's Aura...I'm sure of that..." she answered confidently, she then called out "Shilu! Come out! I've waited for this for so long!" Niv then shooks his head and disagrees "THIS Is AKI's Aura..." then Sora argued with Niv, insisting that this is her sister's life force, while Niv didn't want to lose and instigated. "This is my sister's aura, Niv-kun, I am sure of it!" Sora said while pointing at her sister's picture, Niv once again insisted "No, this is Aki's. She is the one who sent me here!" As the two continued their discussion, a girl appeared.
"Cut it out, you two" the fire maiden said while holding herself from laughing out loud "You're both right..." Aki approached the two, Niv immediately recognized Aki. Sora was surprised. She stood frozen for a minute. "You're not my sister...Who are you?"
Niv interrupted "Don't you recognize your own sister?" Niv was about to add something when Aki gestured for him to pause "Okay, this body is a facade, this is just a shell." Aki explained "My real body is hidden deep inside the temple of Gates. As for now this is my new face..." Aki was about to approach her sister but the wind mage readied herself to fight. Sora was enraged of what she heard "LIAR! YOU ARE NOT SHILU! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SISTER!" Sora then cast a wind spell "WINGS OF ZELODIA!" a large wing-like wind force gathered around Sora, and as the wings flap, the wind rushed, blowing off everything on it's way. Niv was caught off guard and flew off a couple of feet away, but this only moved Aki an inch.
Though the wind was so strong, Aki tried to get closer to Sora, reaching out to her sister. Sora was about to release another blow of strong gust of wind when Aki hugged her. Sora felt Shilu's warm embrace. "Shilu?" Sora's tears started to fall as the air-based wings dispersed. "Yes, Sora, I am here now..." Shilu assured Sora as her embrace becomes tighter.
Orange's ear twitched as he hears something bizarre, Mitsu quickly noticed "Hey, is everything alright?" the Dark Knight inquired. The Werewolf nodded as he started to sniff, as if he was hunting for his next prey "Y-yeah. I'm still not used to this Werewolf form of mine...still adjusting." the two tried to find an alley where they can hide for the moment. Mitsu's phone rang. He answered it immediately. It was Doer, still checking the party's current status "We're fine here. Yes. I will tell you guys if there's anything unusual here." Mitsu replied and immediately ended the call.
Once again, Orange's ear twitched "Oh, this is weird..." he mentioned while rubbing his earlobes, and continued "I can hear more voices this time..." Dark Knight then faced his friend "What do mean?" Orange looked at the busy street "Well, as i've observed, here in this city there are at least 459 inhabitants...now there's an additional 56 people." Orange explained, still rubbing his ears "and out of those 56, 51 are just mumbling...no words are audible...all gibberish..."
The two warriors felt the ground trembling. Mitsu immediately summons his Flatlance, while Orange pulls out his staff and prepares to fight. They ready themselves as the opponent seems to be a large one. The trembling became stronger as their opponent comes nearer. "Orange, get ready...Here he comes..." Mitsu warned his friend. For a minute they were waiting but no one appeared. "well, that's a bummer." Orange exclaimed and let his guard down . The duo finally relaxed and was about to leave when suddenly Guk axed a wall down and greeted Mitsu "FINALLY, I'LL CLAIM WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE!!!"
Meanwhile, Doer was trying to call Shahvi and Hoffelton, the two assassin's mobile phones are just ringing but they are not picking it up. "Master Sith, is everything alright?" the Tengu asked his superior, Doer replied while putting the phone down "They are not answering their phones...I have to check with them now".
"Hmmmm...All of a sudden the clouds started to form up..." Kaito immediately noticed as he looks up the sky, Doer was still busy trying to call their allies when a raindrop hits Kaito's shoulder. It was not an ordinary raindrop since it felt like a needle when it hits his flesh. The assassin grunted but didn't let Doer notice it.
Suddenly, Kaito was alarmed, quickly sensing the danger that is about to come. "Master Sith! Watch Out!' Kaito pushed his master as the rain started to pour. The civilians were immediately killed by the rain. The raindrops were like bullets, piercing into the bodies of innocent pedestrians. The rain got Kaito's right arm and leg, immediately incapacitating the assassin.
The rain immediately stopped, the water started to gather up and forms a humanoid. As it turns out to be Ikezubo. "I am Ikezubo...The greatest Aquorion to ever live!" he unsheathes his Katana and flails it, boasting his great swordsmanship. Doer pulls Kaito out of danger, placing him in the corner and faces the foe, Doer yells at the Merger "So you're the Aquorion who attacked Netherea..." Ikezubo chuckled and proudly replied "I am, indeed, the guilty culprit." Doer's armor and Katars started to appear, growing out of thin air.
"So, if I am not mistaken, you are the Valiant Sea Dragon, right?" Doer said as he started to circle his opponent "Yes, I am...and you are the dreadful Sith..." Ikezubo replied while putting his sword back to it's scabbard. The Sith did not replied, putting on his war face on. "It's fine, Sith, I know that you are now shaking deep inside, so scared of my superior powers."Ikezubo said as he flips his hair but Doer ignored him. Doer then wore his skeletal mouth guard and spoke "Nonsense..." Ikezubo got irritated and shouted "Prepare yourself to DIE!!!"
