"Bruises?"
"Yes. Some of them looked really new..." Elrae whispered caressing the silky hair of the baby that snuggled further into the warmth of the blanket.
"How recent...?" Taehyung looked at the little baby with sadness filling his heart.
"A week or two maybe..."
Jungkook's fist tightened. How cruel could a person be to hurt such a fragile and precious thing?
"Do you think...she's in danger?" Sooyoung gently broke the silence between them, her face turned to Hoseok.
"But she did say something about being saved," Elrae whispered.
"Saved?" Teahyung muttered under his breath.
"About her unnie saving her and bringing her somewhere safe." she shrugged answering him and turning back now to the sleeping child. Caressing the baby's soft cheek with a small smile.
"But then...Why would she leave her at our border?" Hoseok's doubtful voice questioned.
"Maybe they are both hurt. And she was trying to save at least one of them." Sooyoung suggested.
"Like a distraction, you mean?" Jimin questioned tilting his head to the side a little. They
rambled on the possible reasons whereas Jungkook's gaze fixed on the little one on the bed while he fisted his hands tightly to the point his knuckles turned white. The possible danger to his mate triggered the worst of him to come out.
"Unlikely." Yoongi sighed leaning against the door and all attention fell on him. "The bruises. It's unlikely for an Alpha to tolerate violence between his pack members unless he does it or the orders come from him."
"She can be a rouge."
"Does she smell like one to you?" Yoongi questioned back at Taehyung.
"It was planned before. If the violence was tolerated by the Alpha, they had to run away. She would have definitely tracked a secure place for them away from pack territory. And she wouldn't have been stupid enough to bait herself and abandon her sister in a stranger's arms." Jungkook spoke.
"Exactly," Yoongi answered.
"Then the girl?" Jimin questioned.
"That's what we have to find," Taehyung said, making them all look at the peacefully sleeping figure on the bed.
Jungkook stared at the small delicate features on the baby's face, while his heart clenched in pain for a reason unknown. Please be safe.
To my office. Now!, He mind-linked Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, and Taehyung. Leaving with one last glance at the small girl that lay on the bed peacefully, unaware of the mess she had put him in.

2 hours later.
"Yah! Why didn't you tell us?!" Jimin feigned hurt as he followed Jungkook down with Taehyung following close behind.
"Yea...We are your brothers. Didn't you think it was important to tell us?" Taehyung dramatically emphasized his point causing Jungkook to roll his eyes discreetly and shrug his shoulders at them.
"I didn't want to tell because I know you wouldn't keep quiet." Jungkook sighed, making the two gasp audibly, trying to act offended even when they knew deep down they wouldn't have kept quiet for a minute.
"Yah, so what? Finally, there's someone going to be kicking your moody ass." Jimin shrugged while stealing the piece of strawberry that Yoongi attempted to eat.
"In case you are deaf, I didn't tell 'she IS my mate'. I said 'IT'S POSSIBLE that she COULD be my mate'." Jungkook emphasized with a sigh.
"Yeah.Yeah, Same thing." Taehyung gave him a bored look. "I know she is going to be our Luna. And gonna make her kick your ass for all the trouble you've given us, Kookie." he smiled overly sweetly making Jungkook glare at him for the nickname to give.
"Don't call me that!" Jungkook threatened, making the other three laugh.
"Okay...Kookie." the brown-haired boy smiled cheekily at him.
Ignoring him, Jungkook turned to Yoongi. "Did you send them?"
"Yes, but it's almost 30 mins and none of them mind-linked me..." Yoongi frowned with a sense of discomfort and confusion.
"Th-"
The door barged open and a young bloody-haired girl ran in panting with an apologetic look on her face when she noticed that she had interrupted a conversation between her Alpha, Betas, and Delta. Jungkook's molten eyes furrowed at the fact that his pack member was panting as she arrived, for a fact that werewolves had great stamina and she was the best-ranked warrior in the pack.
"Emerson, Aren't you on patrolling duty today?" Taehyung asked with confusion laced in his tone.
"There are some people at the pack border, demanding your presence Alpha," she said bowing her head to all four of them. "Although they haven't approached yet to over cross our territory, they said they wouldn't leave until they'd get back what belongs with them."
"What belongs with them?" Jimin whispered to themselves deep in thought.
"Taehyung, accompany Jimin and see what's the matter," Jungkook said. "I have some unfinished business to deal with."
Unfinished?, Jimin mind-linked.
The dungeons, Jungkook narrowed his eyes.
"Alpha, They are requesting for you. And for some reason, we can't defy her orders." Emerson breathed. "And one of them doesn't smell like a wolf.."
"Her?" his brown eyes narrowed until his senses went high on alert. Witches.
Emerson's lips tightened and she gulped down hard. "They also have three of our trackers with them. They demand your presence for them to be released."
"I knew something was wrong," Yoongi muttered getting up.
"Jimin stay with Taehyung in the pack house, in case something goes wrong and you feel it, get everyone to safety. We can't put anyone at risk again." Jungkook gritted out with a clenched jaw. "Send Hoseok down to the dungeons and tell him to tighten security down. Yoongi hyung you are coming with me."
With a nod, they followed his command. "Lead me to them," Jungkook ordered.
