It was the scent that hit him before he saw it. His pace slowed down as he drew closer to the border, where he could see his men stay guarded blocking the view of the imposters.
"Alpha Jeon." the man with a dimpled smile . Jungkook's gaze narrowed at the politeness and snarls echoed in a protective stance as the stranger took a step forward.
"Polite." another mocked stepping forward with awareness to not take a step into their border.
Careful. Yoongi warned Jungkook, his eyes cautiously shifting between familiar looking the pale blue-haired man and the black-haired man.
Unlike in the human world, twins in the supernatural world were rare to be born apart from royalty. They had the ability to understand each other, share the same feelings, and even be fated to the same mate at times.
But this couple of twins were known to be the most mysterious out of them. The Kim brothers were known to be ' The Solivagant'. ( Solivagant comes from the Latin words "solus" meaning "alone", and "vagans" meaning "wander.")
"Kim Donghyung and Kim Namjoon," Yoongi smirked lightly at the familiar faces making the twins look at him. "What pleasure do we owe to meet you, again?"
Namjoon smirked and acknowledged the familiar face. "Alpha Min. We have come in peace. Our witch here led one of our pack members here. We have come to bring her back."
Jungkook drew in a deep breath. "Rouges," he smirked at them. "Since when do you care for pack members?" his mocking tone made the wolves beside the twins on the other side of the border snarl.
"Go back to where you came from. Scum like you won't step a foot into my territory," he stated, power radiating in his voice.
Scum? Donghyung's eyes darkened at the word. The word that both he and his brother despised. After years and years of being neglected, the filthy scent similar to a rouge never washed off them even after being accepted to the pack.
"Alpha Jeon. I believe you are letting your personal feelings affect moral decisions. Not all rogues are at fault for the bloodshed that happened years ago here." he bowed his head slightly to show respect, but the Alpha growled and tried to charge at him only for Yoongi to restrain Jungkook.
"Donghyung, you've got a bold tongue." Yoongi smirked, "But we both know who has the upper hand right now." Donghyung rolled his eyes muttering 'loyal mutts' under his breath with a scoff.
Namjoon looked at his twin with narrowed eyes. "Let's not drag unneeded conversations to duel with now. Just let us have back our pack member and we will leave back."
The auburn-haired woman spoke up. "Lee Hyori, around 3'2 feet fall. Black hair and inky eyes."
Yoongi looked at Jungkook who breathed in deeply and scowled at the scent. Definitely not the mate, Yoongi sighed.
"Do you perhaps have her under your custody?" the woman questioned.
"Yes," Jungkook answered causing the woman and two men to sigh in relief. "But you cannot have her yet. She is under my supervision for trespassing the territory, under investigation happens she happens to be under my watch." he smiled almost threateningly. "Once I confirm that she indeed is no threat, I'll send her back."
"A four-year-old," Donghyung whispered causing Jungkook to look at him. "Pardon?" he questioned.
"What could a mere four-year-old do?" Donghyung asked out loud feeling restless at the thought of the Hyori in a place unfamiliar.
Jungkook laughed. "If she was that important in the first place, whose fault is it for leaving a child unguarded knowingly in my territory?"
Donghyung clenched his palms into fists narrowing his eyes at Steph. But before anything more could happen, the familiar howl filled with pain and the shrill cry of a child echoed in the silent woods causing Yoongi to stiffen and loosen his grip around Jungkook's arm. His eyes shifted from black to a deep shade of blue and he tensed up before shifting to his wolf and swiftly darting towards the pack house.
"Hyori." was the last thing Donghyung whispered before following Yoongi, uncaring of the consequences of dealing with a frustrated and rage filled Alpha before him.
