The doorbell echoed through the house as you made your way down the stairs. You open the door to see Milo.

"Hello Y/n."

"Hey Milo. Bye mom, bye Harvey! Take care of Puppycat!" You pick up your Vera Bradley black bag that you left at the door that contains all of your essentials for a one night stay. You then close the door behind you. "I'm ready for us to be friends again."

"Me too. It still feels awkward and I don't like that."

"Me either. We always open up later in the night so I'm sure when it gets darker and the day passes we'll be able to."

"I hope so." You and Milo walk to his car.

You both stay silent as he backs out of the driveway.

"Can I connect my phone to your Bluetooth?"

"Yes, when have you ever not done that?" You both chuckle. Then you open your settings app and connect to his car. It was barely even a month since the both of you broke up but you didn't even remove his car from your Bluetooth.

You click on the playlist the two of you made together. You hit shuffle play and the song 'Night We Met' by Lord Huron starts playing. Milo clicks the skip button.

"You don't like that song anymore?" That was the song you and Milo danced to at both proms. It meant a lot to you because the first time you two danced you were just best friends and the second time you both were finally together.

"I'm just not in the mood for a slow song."

"Oh okay." 'In Your Eyes' by The Weeknd starts playing. Neither of you talk, but instead just appreciate the music.

You finally get to the airport. Milo and you still haven't said anything to each other. Neither of you have to check bags in. You look at him confused.

"Where are we going?" you ask.

"Well Disney wants us to fly on a private plane."

"Disney must really like you."

"For now they do. Who knows once the hype for Zombies 3 dies down."

"You got to spend six long years with Disney though. Aren't you tired of it?"

"Honestly no. It feels like just yesterday we filmed the first one. So much in my life has changed." He looks in your eyes. You know he's referring to you.

"Well that's just how life works. Change is always going to happen. Hell, change is one of the only things guaranteed in life. We never stop changing."

"You're such a logical thinker," he chuckles.

"Yes, I have to be in order to be a doctor."

"That's not necessarily true."

"It is. I can't let my emotions take too much control because I'll mess up."

"Emotions aren't a bad thing. You never take your feelings into consideration. You always follow your head and that makes no sense to me."

"It's because you follow your heart. I'll get less hurt if I follow my head. I know I still need to have sympathy and empathy for my patients but that's the only time I will ever listen to my feelings." The both of you stay silent. You have always followed your head even when it came to your relationship with Milo.

Your thoughts are interrupted by a few people. They asked for a photo with Milo. Milo agreed to a few photos. You just silently watched. Once the photos were over one of the girls couldn't stop looking at you.

"Aren't you Milo's ex girlfriend?"

"Yes."

"What are the two of you doing together?" You rolled your eyes. You hated that fans felt the need to know everything in someone's life that they don't even know. You fold your arms.

"That's not really any of your business."

Milo chimes into the conversation.

"We're still friends and it's fine for friends to hangout. We're going to be late for our plane ride but don't forget to watch Zombies 3!" Milo takes your hand in his and starts fast walking away. "Can you please be civil?"

"You act like I was getting ready to fist fight."

"There's no need for you to be so rude to fans who are just curious. I always hated that about you."

"People don't need to be so nosy about someone's life. They don't know you. I don't understand how you can be so calm about that."

"Clearly neither of us are going to agree about this so let's just stop."

"Fine." You let go of Milo's hand. You both walk in silence to the private plane. You sit next to each other but still don't say anything. "Milo I'm sorry. I hate it when we fight. We don't have to agree on this but I can understand where you're coming from. I just don't want your fans to push you too much."

"It's okay Y/n and I know I'll always express if they're pushing my boundaries."

"No you won't," you chuckle.

"Yeah I won't."

"That's why you have me." Milo smiles at you and you can't help but smile back.

"So you haven't done much this past month other than study and hangout with Roland?"

"Honestly yeah. I have been so focused on the MCAT that I haven't had as much time. I know the test is in four months and I shouldn't stress but I really need to pass this test."

"And you will. You're smart. You went through four years of undergraduate program just to get here. Now you're working towards this. I've known you your whole life and no matter what you do, you get through it. You will get past this too. I believe in you."

"Thanks Milo."

"Of course. I'll always be here for you."

"And I'll always be here for you too. I'm sorry I-"

"You have nothing to be sorry for."

"So not much has happened for you in the past month either?"

"Besides filming for the new Disney plus show I have had a lot of free time."

"How's Lou?"

"He's good. He misses Puppycat a lot though. How is he?"

"He has been pretty good but he misses Lou too."

"They'll have to see each other again soon." You and Milo both adopted Lou and Puppycat together from the same shelter. Puppycat and Lou had already bonded together. Milo was only supposed to get a pet but you decided to adopt Puppycat.

The plane ride to Disney took about five hours. So you and Milo caught on everything and avoided the elephant in the room. You also took a nap for the last hour of the plane ride. Milo silently read a book.

The two of you meet a Disney guide at the airport. They drive you to Magic Kingdom where you meet another guide. You both are given Cinderella themed magic bands in order to get into the castle.

You both make your way up the secret elevator to your room. Once you finally enter through the fancy brown door you enter your bedroom. Stained glass windows telling the story of Cinderella, a golden tv, two Cinderella themed beds, a brown with red cushioned couch, and a beautiful bathroom.

"So what's for dinner?" you ask.

"Actually about that, we have been invited to a secret garden party. Costume themed of course. You'll have to dress for the occasion which is why I claimed the Cinderella and Prince Charming theme."
