Just Let Me Forget You (Milo X Reader)

Chapter Four: Negotiation

Roland rushes to your side.

"Y/n/n are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay."

"Maybe you should hear Milo out."

"Why would I?"

"Because he's someone really special to you whether you want to admit it or not. You still love him. How could you not love him? You have loved him for years. He has always been in your life. Once he's done dancing with Meg, hear him out!"

"But-" Roland raises his hand up to stop you.

"No buts, you have to hear him out. I'm doing what's best for you."

"You know, if I focus on him again, I'll spend less time with you."

"I'm fully aware and I accept that. I want what's best for you and I love you too much to be selfish and keep you from him."

"I love you too Roland. I'm glad we're best friends."

"Me too." You pull him into a quick hug. Roland notices Meg walking away from Milo. "Go to him." He lets go of you. You fast walk towards Milo.

"Hey Milo, can we talk?"

"Yes."

"I'm going to be upfront and honest with you, I have been pushing you away. It's just that night really affected me in the wrong way and I just wanted to forget you."

"I'm not that easy to forget."

"I know, believe me I've tried."

You both stay silent just staring at each other.

"Y/n, I want us to be friends. I know it's a stretch but Disney asked me to spend the night in the Cinderella castle to film for another promotion. The thing is, I'm allowed to have one other person be with me. Would you like to come? Consider it a way for us to rekindle our friendship."

You didn't even waste any time to think about it.

"Yes, when is it?"

"In a few days."

"So I'll see you in a few days. I can't slow down my studying though so no distractions for the most part."

"Of course, I completely understand." You look down at your Apple watch. It was time for you to head home.

"I really must get going but I can't wait to see you again."

"Me too." You wave goodbye to Milo as you run back to Roland.
