the sound of footsteps of her heels
can been through the whole hallway.
y/n went home late again due to finishing
all her paperworks so she finally can have
vacation. as she walks to the street her
stomach growl make her stop and touch
her stomach. she remembered that she didn't
eat since the morning, and only drink coffee.
she saw a convenient store open and
decided to buy some food for herself.
she enter the store and went to the cup
noodles section. she pick up some cup
noodles and grab a soda from on of the
refrigerator. she open the soda and drink
some while waiting for the noodles to
be cooked after she payed it.
she heard the store's door open but she
didn't mind looking who was it, she was
too busy checking her phone. after a while
the noodles finally cooked and she proceed
to eat. she finished eating and put the can
and cup to the trashbin and went to the
chair she was sitting earlier and sit there
for a while. she looked at the time on her
phone, it's already 10pm.
as y/n too busy at her phone, she didn't
saw a tall man coming to her table. the
man put an ice cream on her table with
a letter on it. (the ice cream is not
cone one but a cup one."
y/n finally removed her attention to her
phone and decided to leave. she was
about to get up when she notice something
in her table. an ice cream. she pick it up
seeing a small letter on it.
"I can't take your beautiness so i
decided to givr you an ice cream.
don't worry I didn't put poison on it."
she read quitely and saw a name where
it was from.
"-some man that was mesmerized by your
beauty."
she chuckled and check the store if
the one who gave her is still there but all
she can see is the cashier.
she go out of the store with a smile in
her face taking a spoonful of ice cream
and putting it on her mouth and started
walking to her home.
y/n was too busy enjoying her ice cream
not noticing two tall figure keeping an eye
on her while smiling.
"man, this is the first time I saw you
having no guts to talk to a girl and just
gave her an ice cream with your clingy
letter on it." one said putting his arm
on the other one.
"shut up rindou. didn't you saw her face?
she was smiling, meaning she loved it."
ran remove rindou's arm from his
shoulder and started walking away
from the opposite path where y/n went.
"hey I was just surprised that my brother
ran know romantic ways." rindou said
following him.
weeks have passed ran still didn't get over
with the girl he saw last week on a
convenient store. you can say that he
always went to the convenient hoping he
would see the girl. but fate is not with his
side, the girl didn't showed up once.
it's already 2pm, ran still waiting in the
convenient store. he swear this is the last
time he's going to wait here and stop with
his obsession with the random girl if he
still didn't saw her.
ran got thirsty after all the waiting, and
decided to went inside. he sits one of
the chair, then his phone vibrate.
seeing the name of his brother, he
irritatedly answer it and went outside.
"what?" he asked.
"where are you?" rindou asked at the
other line.
"you know where I am rindou."
"you are really obsessed with her
aren't you?"
"yeah and if you don't need anything
stop calling me." ran tap the end
button not even allowing rindou to
finished what he was about to say.
ran look at the sunset hitting his skin
and gulping all the soda and throwing
it away on the trashcan. turning around,
he saw a familiar hair color that he's
been waiting for a week.
the girl passed him because she was too
focus on her phone. ran snap out of his
daydream and ran to her and lightly tap
her shoulder making her turned around.
"ummm....do you need anything sir?"
she asked putting her phone away.
"do you remember me?" ran asked
as the girl scan him for a minute.
"i don't, and I don't think we've met
before so i'll excuse myself." she said
and gave him a smile and started walking
again.
"w-wait! how about the ice cream? a
week ago in 10pm at a convenient store."
this made the girl turned to him and look
at him confused.
"wait, are you the one who gave me that?"
she asked as you can see a small smile at
her lips.
"y-yeah, apparently I've been waiting for
you to showed up again at the store for
a week." ran said slowly approaching her.
"t-thats a little bit stalking, but I appreciate
your dedication to really wait for me.
i thank you for the ice cream and the letter
I love it." she said.
"can I asked your name?"
"I'm l/n y/n, you?"
"haitani ran." ran gave her his hand and
y/n gladly took it and the two handshake.
"nice to meet you ran, and sorry for making
you wait for a week. after that night i went
on a vacation." y/n laughed. "umm, do you
wanna maybe want my number?" she added
mumbling it but enough to hear it by ran.
"yeah! ofcourse, I was about to asked it."
the two exchange their numbers, and ran
was so happy when y/n told him she's not
in a relationship. ran also asked y/n go out
sometimes which she gladly said yes. it
was only the beginning of ran's obsession
in y/n. day by day he fall in love whenever
the two of them are together.
