"umm excuse me." I heard while checking
my cellphone, and quickly put inside in
my pocket.
"yes ma'am? can I help you?" I asked him
giving a warm smile.
"yeah I hope. so I was looking for canned
cat foods and I don't see any, do you not
have here?" she asked.
"hmm, I'll check the back ma'am and how
many do you need?"
"i need 20 of it. thank you." she gratefully
says.
I went to the stock room and started
checking every boxes until my eyes
landed on the sign 'cat foods'. I count
the cans and luckily it have 20 cans.
I went back to the counter and show
her the cans.
"great! that's what I'm searching for,
here is my credit card." she gave me
her card and scan it to the machine.
"um, do you want me to carry it to
your car ma'am?" I don't need to ask
if she had one. I could see a car outside,
it's the only car outside so I assumed
it's hers.
"actually yes, I would be glad."
I followed her outside and put the box at
the back of her car.
"thank you for carying it, my back hurts
a lot. here." she shove me some money.
"it's a tip for being kind."
"ah, you don't need to. I would be glad
more if I help you without any returns."
I shoved her back her money.

"you're welcome and you do love cats
I am right?" I asked making a conversation
so it would be not awkward.
"yeah, I do. and I also own a cat cafe where
you can enjoy your coffee with reassurance
of my cats that i adopted. you knows most
of them were rescued. how about you
takemichi-san, do you love cats?"
I was taken aback when she knew my
name, but I remember I have my name
tag on my shirt. "i don't like them but
don't also hate them, umm do you get
what I meant?" I scratched the back of
my head.
"here, take my business card. If you're
not busy you can come to my cafe.
maybe I'll change your mind." she took
out the card from her wallet and gave me
which I gladly accept.
"and it's y/n by the way." she added and
enter her car. I watched the car's figure
disappeared and went back inside the
store. it's 10pm already, that's why
there's no much customer.
takemichi decided to closed the door.
he went home silently, while he walked
alone he pulled out the business card
y/n gave him.
"y/n l/n huh..." he mumble.
this is the first time where takemichi
hanagaki have the courage to talk make
the first move and talk a girl.
this was the only beginning of their
